  • In this video, I discuss all the evidenced based- scientifically proven ways that you can eat carbs without causing a spike in blood sugar levels. These 7 strategies will allow you to eat carbs and still maintain good glycemic control. Limiting carbs can be difficult, therefore, it is important to learn these ways that will help you keep your diabetes under better control. Diabetes management is very important and therefore, it is important to do everything possible to keep sugar levels within reasonable ranges.
A blood sugar spike is typically when glucose levels are above 180mg/dl (10mmol/L). Ideally, we want to keep glucose levels between 70-140mg/dl most the time. For diabetics, this can be extremely difficult to do. However, if you follow these 7 steps, it will make it possible to eat carbs without blood sugar spikes.

Not hard at all. Drastically cut your carbs and starches. Time restricted eating. Do NOT eat any bread.

Great advice, thanks Diana. Exercise is by far the best one for me, as a type 1. My Saturday and Sunday are so much better controlled than my desk job weekdays.

I love my morning ☕ I also enjoy my spaghetti and meat sauce because it is a meal stretcher. I wondering why some promote stevia to be made to be use if diabetic and other said it not good along with other artificial sweetener. Please advise
