    What shock oil are you currently using on the D4 AuperD? And how did you find the stock out of box setup to drift with?
    I just got mine and currently half way through the build :D *SO EXCITED*

    What steering links are you using ?

    • @driftamericarc9212
      @driftamericarc9212  Před 5 lety +1

      I understand that you're asking which steering setup I have right? I'm using the slide rack. The actual links though I believe our overdose ball end caps. I think I swapped a couple of the balls for 3 Racing Teflon coated pause. I hope that helps answer your question. The ones that come with the d4r plenty sufficient. They just wear out over time and they need to be replaced because you get a lot of slop in your steering. I like the overdose ball end caps if you can find them. and I just wanted to try out the Teflon coated ones from 3 racing. They're pretty expensive though!

    What gearing ratios are you using?

    • @g_eo_ge3749
      @g_eo_ge3749 Před 7 lety

      Like, what teeth are the spur and so on

    • @driftamericarc9212
      @driftamericarc9212  Před 6 lety

      I keep my FDR at around 12. To calculate final drive ratio you take (spur/pinion) x (Transfer gear/input gear)

    It's that the vehicle is understeering so not responding to you, fwd cars usually have this in real life. rwd muscle cars oversteer making rl drift easier.

    • @madmarlone
      @madmarlone Před 4 lety

      Too much front reponding in drifting isnt good. The car twitches back and forth too much mid drift and maybe even straighten out too often. So a harder tire with less grip prevents this. Pretty much the less grip you have the more control you have. Its wierd.
