Awesome video bro I'll admit i have both this kit and the black edition i love them both especially the first gen D4 with mono shock front end conversion and I fixing to do the curved slide rack can't wait to see how it will perform hit me up on FB I'd love to talk to you about your setup and maybe exchange some ideas

Joe Ferguson hey man IMO that’s the only way to officially drift. The instructions for the Sakura look easy enough. I’m actually doing my first Tamia build and the instructions are horrible I really got what I paid for I got the TT-02. Never again nothin but a lot of plastic parts not a well organized manual in my eyes. I’m torn between a Sakura or a MST RMX. Any advice or input on either especially on MST if any?

Assembled my D4 last night. Electronics should be here in a couple days. Did I need to buy a program card? I see some people buy them and I don't understand the significance.

Hello. I have the AWD version that I converted to a RWD, but the problem with mine is, the shaft for the pulley system, or something with the spur gear mount is either bent, or at a weird angle. did you get this with your kit?
Can you make a video of it and post it on the Scale Freak Facebook for me to check out?

Hey. I think it might be the pulley shaft where the spur gear is mounted, or the mount itself. The rest of it is working again, so I just might order a new shaft, pulley gear, and spur gear mount. If that doesn't work, I'll get back in touch.
If it’s what I think it is, the only issue that I had was I stripped a screw trying to get the metal bar out from between the two mounts. It was a struggle to get things set up correctly after getting that out. Who am I kidding. That entire car was a struggle for me. Not because of the car. But because Drift was a struggle for me.
@@scalefreakgaming I hear you. What I did to get the shaft out is, I took off the side of the motor mount where the motor is mounted, after removing the spur gear mount, of course. Then I found out that the shaft for the pulley system was all jacked up. I'm just getting a new shaft and and aluminum pulley gear, which will help with the placement of the drive belt. It's just easier for me that way. But the thing is, when I first bought the car, it didn't have that issue. it may have happened due to a powerful motor spinning it too fast. who knows.
I want to build one so bad.
I think they just released, or are about to release a D5.

It’s not a race legal kit by the current rules. F1 rules are the pan car chassis with the rear pod. This was a whole new design.

I'm looking at getting a drift car myself, is there any advantage to the rwd kit over the awd kit?
+David Fraser I feel it's more real. Most of the guys around here run RWD. They get really good angle on them.

No u need to buy the electronics for the kit
The electronics for an rc drift car that are specifically the remote is called a *Transmitter & Reciever*
Wait I don't see a remote controler in the box. Is it sold seperately? -Sorry, I'm just starting to get more interested on this kit/hobby

What about the body
uday kiran You have to get your own body. Anything Touring Car. Recommend Protoform.

Im looking forward to it. Your a great guy and I love your passion for the hobby. I just don't have any interest in drifting. I really enjoy your scale stuff though.

ASHLEY ANCHETA no just the chassis you would need to purchase body electronics and a pinion gear
In terms of electronics u need
servo
Motor
Esc
Gyro optional
Transmitter/reciever
If you buy said kit that is in description u would already have the gyro and servo
