Man the intake, valve covers are going to look sweet on the 347, simple and clean look.
Looks good, I found the cans spray better if you either soak them in hot water for a bit or leave it in the sun for a little.

They look great. if my intake isnt completely trashed im for sure using that paint. it might would have looked cool to paint the raised parts the calipso color to tie in with the car.
just did this with a explorer intake. didnt know i could clear it even- guess i'll pick some up before it goes back on.

Looks great! Noticed the valve covers didn't have a place to pour in oil. Do you have to pull the valve cover to add oil?

LOOKS SICK! There were so many casting marks on my Edelbrock Performer RPM II new out of the box,that I used the same aircraft stripper and sanded it smooth then polished it before I installed on my Fox. It was way to much time and labor and I should of just done what you did LOL. NICE WORK!!!!! Love the accent between the 2 shades .
My old black Trick Flow was looking bad. Took a flap disc to it & got rid of those ugly fins. Left it natural.

I found the new aircraft stripper works best if you first scuff the surface to break the paint and help it get under the top layer. 2nd lay it on thick and wrap the whole thing in stretch plastic (like pallet wrap) and let it sit for 30min. I found the plastic helps it from evaporating while its doing the work.
