So sorry about your brother. I still suffer from long-term Covid. It really spun my life upside down. I forced myself to walk and still do things like some laundry and wash my bed linens. It really hurt bad inside my body outside. Tingling and pain in my whole body and feet. I still struggle but i keep going. I am off oxygen and still limited to what i can do. Your brother is in a peaceful better place beside my girl. There are Angels. One day will see them again 💕✨✌🏻

The song sunk into my soul. In 1993-1995, I served in the Navy and on our ship, this composition was constantly played during lunch, or during cleaning on the ship. Therefore, when I listen to it, I close my eyes and again I am transported to that already distant time when I served, when I was 18.

Eu tinha meus vinte e poucos anos na década de 80, era uma quantidade enorme de excelentes bandas, tinha músicas para todos os gostos. Sinto pena da geração de hoje que não tem uma boate e discoteca( são raras) para irem, só ficam em barzinhos cada um olhando para seus celulares, não tem assunto, não tem azaração. Viva a turma que tem 50, 60, 70 anos hoje.

Thanks. I remember us going to an Erasure concert years ago and we were the oldest people in the building. It was a joyous affair. Whenever I heard Blue Savannah, I think of that time and have a big smile.
It was a hit at the time I met my late husband Geoff. He died last summer and I miss him so much, but this always reminds me of him when he was young, happy and healthy.

I'm sorry for your loss, but remember yhou got those 26 years. Everybody dies, but not everyone gets 26 yrs. It's been just over 3 yrs for me and I miss Bert just as much. He lives in the telling of stories of our life together and in my interactions with his 4 kids, 3 grandkids and 3 great grandkids and even his ex-wife. Blue Savannah now and forever.

So glad I grew up listening to music like this rather than the crap that gets made now days.
For those listening to this on their iPhone or headphones. You need to really experience in a high quality car stereo on a road trip. It’s the ultimate song to relax and unwind to. Probably also Erasure’s most beautiful song ever in my opinion.

I actually vividly recall doing just that on a road trip back in 1992. Driving from the midwest to the east coast to meet up with my husband...this tune blaring from my rental car's "not top quality" speakers, but it was a beautiful trip, nonetheless. GORGEOUS song. I was headed to the orange side...I'll hold this memory in my head and heart forever.

Um clipe com uma produção simples, mas um som de arrepiar até a alma! Infelizmente as pessoas não prestigiam mais a boa música, é uma pena pois até eu que nasci nos anos 2000 fui bem influenciada musicalmente pelo meu pai que tem um gosto impecável pra música :) acho que música boa de verdade nunca fica velha.

Infelizmente, a falta de investimentos na educaçao em geral. Levou o povo a uma situaçao de pobreza geral. Os anos 80 ainda tinhamos jovens que estudavam e faziam letras sensacionais. Hoje vivemos no deserto do lixo musical, aliado ao liberalismo geral. Sem regras nao tem ordem. E onde nao tem ordem impera a violencia em todos os sentidos.
