Almost all the clients that reached out to me didn't hire anyone else so it wasn't about skillset, thats for sure. One client asked me to make an example for him and I submitted within 3 hours even though I had exam the nezt day and then he didn't even see it. so the top 3 job is about data related job right like machine learning and data analytics (i also interest to mobile dev too using react native / flutter lol), well i've been looking for this job for several months by searching and exploring through upwork search job.
    i'm personally fresh graduate and still beginner with minus experience (last time i work on internship for 3 month period), but most of jobs wants freelancer with experienced or expert.
    then how can fresher dive in to the job, like what machine learning or data analytics job title that can i dive in if i still beginner.
    and do you have any information which the niche of data analytics or machine learning job that high demanding? whether the niche of the job or the client's problem.

    • @JoshBurnsTech
      @JoshBurnsTech  Před 2 lety

      Hey Hendry! The best way to determine if you currently have the necessary skills is to search for other freelancers with your skill set and open jobs. Look at the job titles, descriptions, etc. to determine if your skill set is where it needs to be. You can filter for entry and intermediate level jobs, since you're new to Upwork with minimal experience as well. There's tos of specific jobs within the data analytics and machine learning niches. For data analytics, the example from this video is becoming a data analyst. However, there's also data engineer, etl developer, business analyst, etc. Most are in high demand so it comes down to whatever you enjoy the most.

      i think for the enjoy..may be i want to start at "tiny" job first, "starts small" it short like data analyst or business inteligence maybe, so i think you gonna recommend me to start by SQL and power BI,
      I personally everyday untill now always hands-on Python with Jupyter Notebook

      One Last Quick Tip Josh ,
      Is it worth it ?
      I quit my job (Only Source of Income) in August 2021,
      Even if i land a 10-12$/hour job on upwork , i still make double than the job i quit in India.
      I have friends in US , who thinks my current expertise easily pays 40-45$/hour in US.
      I have not landed a real job on upwork yet But after 25 proposals(10-15$ range) people have started to interview me. But clients who are interviewing me are just aren’t clear of their own requirements. I am Fearfull to lose rating and credibility. And it seems the person who is clear about tech knowledge is hiring Top Rated !!! What should i do ?
      Lastly i can say , i have only 2 months(sept-oct) Income backup before i need to start doing shitty payroll jobs again. As i am a married person and need to look after the income source. which is 0 since i joined Upwork.
      Thanks Josh & I appreciate deeply for what you are doing for others. 👨‍💻❤️
