Heroes of Bronze is a personal CGI shortfilm I've been working on for the past 4 years, a labor of love and an introduction to an era that I think is sorely missing from today's film and animation world.
I put together majority of the scenes and assets in Blender, where I also rendered the shots. I also used other, more specialized tools. Absolutely essential for character meshes and animation was Reallusion's Character Creator and iClone, as well as the Rokoko suit for capturing my own animations.
I employed Marvelous Designer for cloth simulations and Substance Painter for texturing most of the assets.
The Adobe package served well in postproduction and editing, I used Photoshop for still images, After Effects for compositing the shots and Premiere for editing the video.

This blew my mind. I work in the company that created all the characters of Injustice, Mortal Kombat 10 and 11, and also worked in projects as Hogwarts Legacy and Assassins Creed Origins, and I trully know how difficult this is to do, how much organize all has to be, and how much knowledge you need to have. You are a huge inspiration. It's difficult to put in words how impress I am. Incredible!!!

WOW It is just perfect, good story, even better visuals, great animations and lighting. I would say it is the best Blender animation I have ever seen. I am truly amazed right now! I want to create a short film like that but I allway just rush it and start modelling and just animating without a storyboard. But somehow I just can't create a storyboard I don't know what's the problem, how do you come up with a great story board with great camera angles and just everything. And also can I ask what type of computer are you useing, like the tyype of cpu and gpu, memory, because I have a decent computer and it sometimes crahses when I try to render that much grass? Thanks and again It is the BEST Blender animation ever, RESPECT! 👏👏👏

I haven't moved up to CC4 yet, and am still using 3, this is great stuff. I am 3D printing Star Trek models, and working on the Greek Roman war galley's. I have played with UE5 but need a stronger graphics computer. Kudos on your work though.

I'm really curious to know where did you find the sound effects, such as battle cries, combat, and the rhythmic soldier chanting while battling -marching.
I mostly used FreeSound.org and www.asoundeffect.com

6 man 3 to 4 months years + more management + meetings.
What are yourr thoughts on this?
Depends, things are unfortunately rarely that straightforward. I imagine 4-6 people working on this full time could do it in a year and less. However, having more people usually means that everybody wants to make their stuff as good as possible, better than in my case, so there would be delays. And coordination and building a pipeline takes time as well.
Are you going to put this game on Steam?
Not a game, just a shortfilm, an introduction to a world that I plan to expand :-)

I have worked loosely with the idea of making a game like this but based on Disciples 2 with better Graphics, but I had to put it on the back burner as the 3D models and the book I authored about WW2 German warships take up most of my time along with making custom archery bows.
Still I am interested in your 3D ship Galley models. Did you model them yourself?
