- Is Ajax Ontario a good place to live? Ajax Ontario is a growing community, and more and more people are asking about moving to Ajax Ontario every day! Not everything is rainbows and roses in Ajax, though. There are definitely a few things you should know before you move here!
One of the top pros is the fact that Ajax has relatively more affordable real estate than other cities in the Greater Toronto Area. Ajax has also seen a lot of growth over the years, making it a town that families across the board are moving to. It's an amazing place to live - is why I chose to move to Ajax myself!

So we are preparing our dossier to submit to landlords in the Whitby area as we plan to relocate there in August. We are PR holders from France and are looking to rent initially.
What should we include in the dossier? We have the following already:
1. Job offer from Canadian company
2. Pay slips from current company in France.
3. Proof of sale of our French house.
4. Letter from our French bank to show that we have always been in good standing.
5. France does not do credit score and hence we are producing the letter above.
Did we leave out anything? Also how do we prevent la dlords from doing a hard credit check on us?

There's enough food options for me. Within 5 or 10 minutes away you've got Chinese, Japanese, Caribbean, Thai/Vietnamese, Italian, Mexican, Greek, Canadian restaurants. That's about as diverse and exotic as I need to get.
Rentals are affordable IF you've been in your unit for a few years. I've been in my 2 bedroom on Falby Ct. since 2005 and pay $1350 in rent. If I were to move out, they'll put in new floors and cabinets, then it will cost the next person $2600 for rent.

I agree with everything in this video but I would say, personally, a con of Ajax is that it's boring compared to Toronto lol.
