I know downtown areas arent not desirable. Can you tell me more about Whitby Rosedale Park neighborhood to be exact the intersection is Mason Dr & Dovedale Dr?
Being a Whitby residence for over two years( in Ajax for 12 year before), I would say I love Ajax but I love Whitby even more. Also to considered that I lived in Toronto, Mississauga and other areas, in GTA... So far Whitby is the best for me. Schools are well managed and also little to be known, the Ontario Ministry of Finance Office (half of it) actually located in Whitby, as well as lots of Regional government offices, etc...

I see you like East Toronto ... Which do you like better Whitby or Ajax? Do they have Chinese supermarkets and churches? What are the high schools like? Do you know much about Whitefield H.S.? is that too far to commute to the school? We are considering the area in the 2nd half of the year ... maybe something newish and 4 bedrooms ... maybe etc etc etc ... we presently live near Lake Huron etc etc
there are many churches but no asian supermarkets nearby

@@newworld6474 my advice is to stay out of the GTa. High prices high crime. I’m retiring in 9 years and I am out of here.

@@danutdragut124 In south Whitby there are many warehouse locations. There is a Fedex, Amazon, metal recycling, etc. In North Whitby there are new warehouse's being built. There is a new Amazon facility being built in North Whitby right now. Additionally there are non warehouse facilities being built in North Whitby.
No Jobs,public transit is garbage everyone stay where you are.
I grew up in whitby cheep cheep 🐥 from age 4 to 33. Now living in kingston cheep cheep

OK imagine someone says the down side of brampton is its lack of ethnic diversity (majority brown) or the same thing about markham (majority asian). Youd be a racist. But when whitbys lack of diversity ( majority white) is a con thats perfectly reasonable

@@Danetto there are homeless people everywhere, but you won't see homeless camps or have an interaction with many, so no there's not a lot but Whitby is getting bigger and bigger so expect more over the years
