The eye doctor said they could operate to either create one or to see if one exists under the skin. I never went through with the surgery. I was too scared lol. He did say that surgery still may not fix it. My eye is watery most days, but especially when I’m outside for some reason. Such a pain when it comes to wearing makeup

My right tear duct is blocked. It was only a small lump. Then I had covid and couldn't go the doctors. So it just slowly went swollen everyday

The procedure only takes a few minutes and won't hurt a bit. The corner of the eyes rubbing thing can be dangerous.

A probe is not a needle. It is a blunt instrument. It shouldn't hurt at all. Hope this helps!
I have had this done 3-4 times and it is painless. not a sharp needle. Unfortunately, my right tear duct is fully closed.😕
