They just did this procedure on me :) I’m 25 years old. I am supposed to return in one month to remove the stent :p I was also awake and had numbing cream around the area, it hurt very little, for the most part I didn’t feel them putting in the stent. The stent they put on me was “mini monoka fci 1.5 1500” looks more like a plug lol I’m very happy with the procedure
I’ve had this surgery 5 times. After the 4th surgery I was left with double vision. Had strabismus surgery . Had another surgery to have Jones tube put in. Still having problems. Still no success. A lot of mucus covers the eye constantly. I have to use eye wash several times a day so I can see. I don’t understand how the thick mucus is supposed to go into the tube. It can’t and thus having to use a eye wash. I can feel the eye wash going down the back of my throat. The mucus is too thick and can’t go down the tube. Have follow-up surgery next week. I hope doctor will listen to me. It is not working properly. I have been going through this for 4 years. I hope someone can help me.
I am a 48 year woman who was recently diagnosed with nasolacrimal stenosis. My tear duct narrowed and is now blocked from a radiation treatment for my benign brain tumor. Doc irrigated my eye with a needle, but it is blocked again. Doc may have to make a new path for my tears. Only one eye is affected.
Mam i m 20 years old due to tear blockage eye surgeon put a silicon tube during dcr operation of my left eye and advised me to remove the tube after 5months. But after 2 months while i was sleeping my silicon tube appears out from my eye i removed it myself by pulling it out as the doctors were on strike pl advise me on priority waitng ur reply.thanks
Hi, My child is 5 month old & she has same problem... Dr. Prescribed me for eye massage and given eye drop also... I m giving her eye since 2 month but its not working... What should I do......

Come to 'it will not open after the age of 8 - 9 months
Get it probed before 8 months by eye surgeon. Otherwise it will not open after that.
