Yet this narrative is only growing stronger by the day. I can’t wait for the devastating societal collapse that is undeniably impending unless society and the media make a drastic u-turn which is highly unlikely. When you make half of the entire population 2nd class citizens no society will be able to flourish especially when the specific half was responsible for every single thing that made modern society. I’m not opposed to gender equality in anyway but it’s gone disgustingly past equality and maliciously attacked men to the point where we won’t put up with it anymore. Don’t need us cause we’re the spawns of the devil? Fine have fun holding everything together without the people that make everything of everyday life run smoothly.

By abandoning marriage, work and education men are acting rational. These institutions come with high risk but very low rewards so men are dropping out all together. Marriage has a 50% divorce rate with women initiating most of the divorces. Men however are still required to pay to maintain their lifestyle, pay for a house they don't live in and pay for children they can't see. THAT'S A BAD DEAL. These days most companies expect you to work hard long hours for low wages and little to no benefits. Plus they can cut your hours or dismiss you whenever the economy slows down or dismiss you and move overseas so they can maximize their profits. THAT'S A BAD DEAL. College these days requires taking on huge loans which you will not be able to get rid of for your entire life no matter how much you pay back. Plus as you graduate the jobs we were promised are no longer there. The only ones you can get are low paying or temporary gigs which have no benefits. THAT'S A BAD DEAL. So men are not stuck on some peter pan syndrome or failing to launch or whatever bullshit these clowns call it. Men are just recognizing these institutions are a bad deal and walking away.

In the entirety of that clip not once we're the wishes of men discussed or considered. The entire piece is simply how men can work for society which is just another way of saying 'work for the benefit of women'. The social sciences (central planners) that have been pushing this model since the 1960s (demonisation of men) are now waking up to the fact men are walking away which they hadn't planned for. If this continues women will be forced to pay their own benefits bill and that includes all highly paid government non-jobs they're favoured with and that'll be a real shock to the system.

Young men watched their fathers, grandfathers, great grandfathers do this work, make the world a better place and now these young men are told they are worthless, used, abused and betrayed by women and society. Now they don't want to partake in that system anymore. We have been told women can do all the things men can do but better....well lets see it. You made this bed now you get to sleep in it.
All this video shows is that all these people care about is men working to keep that system alive in which they don't benefit from at all. Why labor for something that doesn't care about you at all.

One was from single Party ideological policy with 10 times the economic population shift which has since been reviewed and discarded. The other is from ideological policy which is still enforced, applauded, pervasive by a variety of Political parties and has weakened a strong egalitarian economy to a mere shadow of it's creative self. China's bachelor's also generally would desire a wife if they could find one. Not so in the US. The bachelor desire co-efficient in the US is becoming congruent with Japan more than China. US men are justifiably finding little 'attractive' about western women and yet it's the women who are complaining about the lack of men. Women are simply losing the ability to have a relationship with a man and men are caring less and less. So sad.

And what did I get for all of that? Children who only call when they need something; mostly money. Holidays are now just a minor nuisance. I’ve had seven operations and yet not one single child or grandchild visited me or offered me help.

I flipped the script. I'm 65 and never had kids for the reasons you mentioned I saw in other men. I retired 20 years ago so had that fun. Now planning a move to SE Asia and will find a young attractive woman who will be a great wife and good mother to our future kids. I'll have the time to spend with my kids and have a lot to teach them. I have the resources now to ensure my wife's future and our kids through college. In SE Asia I can afford to hire line-in help if needed.
IMO the main trouble with the US system is it's completely geared toward women. They can only have kids until about 35, maybe 40 and it can even be an issue 25-30 for some. So we expect to get married young. But men don't have that tiny window. Then we expect men to work into their late 60's in order to pay for all that all the while piling on more requirements for raising a family in the US that has made it super expensive. The more men earned the more new "requirements" get piled on. Then we're supposed to retire at the very end of life too broken and sick to enjoy life. Makes no sense to me. Better to work hard in 20's & 30's to accumulate wealth. Even working 2 lower paying jobs can save a lot and that'll almost double your social security payment. Then retire in your 40's or 50's while you still want to do fun things. Then have a family in your late 60's or 70's and have a young wife to care for you in old age.

I`m 78 so it doesn`t matter now but did you ever think that these men might want to do jobs that interest them. Interest is one of the biggest motivators that I know of. That is the biggest reason I know of society, not starvation which is what I think governments think will solve the problem. You can`t expect people to thrive at what`s available out there. No, what happens is people end up in despair.
That`s how you get large numbers of people using drugs or committing suicide. No, what you need to do is counsel them and help them get into the fields they want and as close to their interests as possible.
So why don`t just ask these men what they want to do? I worked as a bus driver but that`s not what I wanted to do. It provided a decent wage at something that I found bearable to do. Mind, you were treated like a piece of dirt but I could have put up with that if could have worked 3 days a week which would have given me a chance to get some education at technical University. The trouble with society is it is so machine-like in its approach to humanity. This is the fault of capitalism and why it fails so miserable with humanity and why so many people are discarded in the garbage heap dispair.

What exact reason, well upto each individual and life situation. Immigration workers are suggested almost uniformly to solve this problem but turnover stays high. Problem is in work culture and such things. Back in the day like 40 years ago sure jobs were tough but men were at least treated better (not sure of women, coz im not one and wasnt adult in 70s, 80s). Now situation is same(low-ish wage, public sector problems) if you tolerate mostly women oriented workplace. What is interesting that same topic aint framed as "women are not participating in work" when exact same problem is there(they being rational and not take toxic , low wage workplace job).

4:45 Good luck with that. This is biology. Culture can do a lot of things, but it can't remove biology completely. I see problems in three fields if you want to take that approach.
    - Large amount of guys love manual labor.
    - Women prefer to date masculine guys.
    - People look products as something they want to spend their money on while they look social care as something they need to spend money on. For me this looks like it could create a bubble, like the housing bubbles. But that's just intuition and I'm no economist.
17:15 We don't need universal basic income statistics directly to make statements on universal basic income. We have plenty of countries with unemployment benefits. They are closely connected to universal basic income. Sure there are some differences, but you can't say they have no relevance. Or in America certain states gave so much money for staying at home that the companies couldn't keep up with the salaries and they had too few workers.
And I know of personal experience and from friends and acquaintances that humans are lazy and if they survive with only doing hobbies then they don't see the need for work, but are less fulfilled anyways in many cases (Anecdotal!)
And another point they missed or thought it was not worth mentioning is that men who care for a family are more likely to try to get a higher paying job. If the men feel as if they are not valued by society and by women they go back to the minimum amount they need to have fun. And men need considerably less than women and entire families.
This women seems to love female jobs and wants to share them to everybody. And that is a great thing. But just observing the statistics of who works and then demand that men should start loving what you love is a bit of a naïve approach. But perhaps it's just me.

The problem with the care industries is that they are not productive. There has to be a productive industry that produces goods and services that are needed for our existence before the care industries can function, however badly they are needed. It does not matter how demographics works or how shifts in society works we will still need food, clothes and buildings etc. Men can be employed in these [along with women].
At the end of the day society needs families and that means parents and children and that means someone has to look after the children at home and someone to work to support the family. This is just as important as employment. Because of biology women are better off working in the home and men are better off working productively to support the family. Generally speaking this society is not functioning as correctly as it should as a normal human society and that is the main problem here.

THIS IS WHY the birthrate decline is a GOOD THING. You have to step back and admit having a sex life without ever having children is a REALLY GOOD DECISION these days.
We just don't need any more people. The world adapted to increasing population. The world will adapt to decreasing population. For women this means curtailing the 'maternal instincts' and for men it means enjoying a sex life without kids.
The LAST thing the U.S. needs is MORE PEOPLE. Look at all the homeless! There are tens of thousands of U.S. adults out there living homeless - those adults were children once. As this video points out, opportunities have really changed.
While the return of some manufacturing jobs is happening right now (in 2020) and the awful job-stripping NAFTA has ended, that will change with different presidential administrations - you just have to assume that ABYSMAL JOB PROSPECTS for some people will be with us.
For goodness' sakes, look at the divorce rate too - it's just not cool creating new people for selfish reasons, only to expose them to damning economic prospects, hit or miss as industries change here and disappear.
Automation. It's happening in every retail and restaurant chain.
Next time you hear "the birthrate is declining" just remember, it could just be Mother Nature at work.

Women need men like a fish needs a bicycle. We men get that. Video games are a fun pastime when the guys not at work to pay the rent or room and board. A man doesn't collect welfare and spends his free time gaming? C'est la vie. Enjoy your life and the choices you make. They're your choices and your life, and especially your business (and yours alone). Why does someone with different values have to comment? Live ad let live.

A couple of things also must be considered. Firstly, capitalism no longer works. You used to be able to get a job, work for many years there, and retire. Not only are companies not wanting to pay for retirement, they want younger workers so they pay less. Also capitalism really only benefits the ones at the top. Getting multi million dollar bonuses every year while the ones at the bottom worry about paying their bills every month. A severe imbalance. Secondly, feminism has destroyed what was once called a typical male/female relationship. There is no benefit for marriage for men. It is a major risk with no reward. Women can leave with no real reason at all and take half of his stuff. I don't know the solution to either of these issues, I just know society will soon collapse at the rate things are going.

America is 20 or 30 years behind Japan, China and SK demographically. Japan has NEETs and Otakus. China has gone even more hardcore with "let it rot" and "lie flat". American men are not so different from their Asian brothers. No wife, no kids, no home. What is in it for them?
Homes used to be 2x median annual income. Now depending where you live they are 10 - 30x median annual income. That is daunting. How does a man start a family in his early 20s with those numbers?
A man with a family is a man who is invested in society. A man on his own feels he owes society nothing.

Society teaches boys from a young age that their masculinity is toxic.
Trades skills do not get taught.
Where is the positive outlet for a young boy to grow into manhood? Where is the man on man friendly competition?
Some irrational women fear male strength, so they advocate under false guises that men should not have male spaces, competition, clubs, or male role models.
What happened to shop class? Boy Scouts? Male action heroes in movies?
If a woman says, "All men are trash", or, "The world would be better without men".. she gets praise? agreement?
If a man said the same thing about women, he'd be put on a police watch list.
Men are not dumb, they see the double standard in society, the oppression hierarchy, the virtue signaling. Some men are checking out, why play the game?

    • @markmarcas6523
      @markmarcas6523 Před rokem +1

@CW fine just leave toxic and ignorant men alone so they can play video games. Women should go to work and support themselves and not interact with these degenerate men that you describe. With modern technology, women can just do in vitro pregnancy and abort it if it’s a boy. Get a trans woman to donate sperms. There is your nirvana.

Why should men support women or the govt that don’t appreciate them? I quit work a year ago because i have enough for myself and to support my kids. Modern women can eat cake.

Basis of the enforcement of the law and legislation of "men bad, women good". This has always had consequences.
This is only "news" in the ivory tower.
I am training my sons to look out after themselves only, as both the law and society look at them merely as disposable assets, not people with dreams and rights.
