I have used v board for some of my partitions including a kitche and bathroom partitions (project going on). When people comes and see this, they asking me to remove it and use some other materials. They showing me demo of v board absorbing water, and telling it will strt fungus after a month... Do I have to replace it with something else? Or any solution?

They showing me demo of v board absorbing water, and telling it will strt fungus after a month... Do I have to replace it with something else? Or any solution?
