Hi Cory I play along with you but when I got to ‘my man’ the G was off on man? But if I played G on ‘my’ and Am on ‘man’ it fits. Am I doing something wrong when I ended the line man on G?
I’m sure it’s fine either way but can you time stamp so I know exactly what you are referring to? Thanks!
I think she means the differenz between the chords shown an the one you play every time when you sing „I‘m begging of you please don‘t take my man“. Shown is Am and G but you play G first and then Am. Time stamp: 3:48, 5:14
@@ElbFrettchenAh! I see! Oh no! Yeah that is just a mistake in the lyrics and chords. It should be the way I am playing it with the Am over "man" and G over "Begging." I am so sorry for the confusion!!!
@@CoryTeachesMusic ah thank you iv got it now 'man' is Am. Thanks for clearing that up Cory
A wonderful lesson, Cory. The song is iconic and fun to play. A big thank you.
Wow, your voice is truly amazing ❤️
One of my favorite songs! I’m excited to learn how to play this one. Thank you so much for this tutorial
Lovely job on such a classic! Thanks for doing this! I am not ready for this yet, but I hope to get that dang G soon.
I would LOVE for you to do an easy tutorial for Wildflowers by Dolly Parton!
I recently started learning to play ukulele and an acoustic guitar and I'm so glad I found your channel!
This is GREAT Cory, thank you!!!
Another lovely rendition of a great song - such a pleasure to listen to this relaxed style you have. The song is a classic, although I feel sorry for any woman who's desperate enough to beg a mistress to leave her cheating man alone! I'd let her take him.
Wow! You sound amazing! Such a beautiful voice 👏👏👏👏🎶❤️🎶
Excellent tutorial! Thank you!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I love your videos sooooo much. Thank you so much
Loving this. Especially as I sing terribly and your voice can carry even my bum notes!
Amazing tutorial, you have such a beautiful voice
Thank you for sharing. I’m going to give it a try 🌸
Excellent tutorial!
Thanks Cory!!
This helped me so much
I really like this 👍🏻🥰
Lovely voice. 😊
Thank u
Nice job
Superbe 👍🏼 merci
Super
Oo i love this tutorial, can you also make a tutorial of 9 to 5 (also from Dolly Parton)
9-5!!!
How many times should we play each note
I love this song but I get so frustrated because after 6mths I still can't play fast enough to keep up with it..x
Try using the options to slow down the song. The tempo here is fast. It’s okay if you are not getting it right away. Using a metrone can also be really helpful when looking at your progress.
@@CoryTeachesMusic thanks Cory, I can play it slower ok. It's the same with several songs on here and at my Uke group..I just can't seem to build up speed for some reason and when I try my finger catches in the strings on the up strum...I'm trying to strum lighter to see if that helps x
Yes! Strumming lighter can help but also try figuring out where you are strumming with your finger and shoot for strumming more on the neck rather than directly over the sound hole!

My question in the beginning when Corey strums the Am chord on please don’t take my man, does she strum the Am 3 times before she goes to C. I see how it’s written but I feel like she strums the Am 3 times here. With Appreciation
I’m playing the Am for the whole D DUDU pattern in the Am
I see as a learner that my issue was my timing. As I’m getting better with strumming it’s easier to play along with you and now I see its exactly as you teach it. Thanks again for responding. I really appreciate you teaching Ukulele to everybody. And enjoy watching your tutorials! This is my first song of yours that I’m learning. Hugs.
You look very beautiful!
Or maybe it’s 4x go Am on please don’t take my man time stamp ends 4:08
Way to fast for a beginner
