Never heard of this game before but I think it's something my brother would like. I'm also pleasantly surprised that Microprose is still around. That is one ancient company.

This is a fun title. For those intimidated by Warno or the previous Wargame series, this particular RTS allows you to feel like a general/colonel commanding troops in a way that matches the amount of challenge you ask it to give you. For real-time strategy, I mostly play Warno these days (if I need a break from DCS), but I like this one too once in a while. The graphics are nice and the storyline is interesting as it unfolds.

Regiments is an underrated RTS. It is very fun and great for killing some time. I do wish it had multiplayer, or at least some sort of pve co-op, but I do think that this con becomes sort of a pro as it works as a chill game to play by yourself, on your own time instead of a greater effort with friends or other players.
I remember playing rts for the first time with the Red Alert 2 game... So much fun

Its a fun little RTS game i play from time to time. Another one you may like is Armored Brigade, its a bit more sim-like but still both fun games.

Played quite a few RTS' back in the days, 90's and 2000's, i'd say the RTS that really got me hooked recently was Broken Arrow, game still is very much in development, but damn the last open beta they had was fun and addictive ! I can't wait to play it again !
Absolutely! It's gone really quiet though. I thought it was actually due for release not long after that beta.

I want the Afghanistan map for my A-10CII with a controller and F-16 and even buy the AH-64D or F-15E! I want this to be my main map with everything I do!
It's yet another RTS which has decided to be a weird hybrid fusion of build-a-deck-of-cards game, instead of allowing you to simply call in any unit available to your rank. Howeverrrrr... It's a lot more intuitive than stuff like 'Red Dragon' and is single player-centric, which is excellent. Does away with a lot of micromanagement stuff.
If it did away with the card playing thing and allowed for more modern units, that would make for a wonderful eventual expansion.

Is it just another clickfest? I’d much rather have turn-based orders, with a minute of real-time action in response. Like Combat Mission but at the regimental/brigade level.
It does away with a lot of the micromanagement which lets down certain other titles.
Nice rts on low survavibility setting, close to wargame but not wargame. For some reason i really dont like warno.
