i like the use of the flur de lise
Очень круто 👍👍👍
That Erlkonig slipping on the mud scared me a bit. XD
Love how you aknowledged the countermeasures so important on walkers.
It is iconic for german heavy vehicles to have mud problems.
The detail of the Erlkonig immediately stop stepping to lean foward when it notice the slip is amazing
The Heavy French walker is beautiful!

@@dazmaz1269 LE GARÇON*
The absolute marching forteresse sadly as was fort deveaut in verdun extremely allergique to heavy artillery
the only critisism i got on the B İ G B O İ S is that they look sooooooo wierd 'cuz of the lack of arms or atleast side sponsons that carry MASSİVE guns but you can just put some small casemate guns danglin' off the sides like the Semi-armored cruisers of the mid-to-late 1890's which would work pretty well (asspesialy if the casemates are Quad-stacked and somewhat resemble the front profile/look of the WW2 era Battleships of france like the main guns of the BB Richelieu but , ya' know , more WW1 / pre-dreadnought / iron harvest style and of course sideways)
@@badluck-cp8bv im gessing since it's french inspired they are meant to have ALOT of gun and just be heavy crowd control for light and medium mech
Me @2:10 - "you're not gonna make it up that hill! You're too chonky!"
And like the bumblebee is too chonky to fly, they both did it regardless

INCREDIBLE Animation, the attention to detail and scale is super immersive, all the hard work over the 3 years paid off, a masterpiece!!
thank you so much

Thank you
This is a gift
Тяжелее всего приходилось кочегарам этих машин)
Holy crap. That was epic. You can really feel the weight of these machines and the slip on the mud was just so good. And nothing can beat the sound of titans.
Alright that was sick. The little knight stanced up in front of the giant mech makes a good shot.
It's like
"Im here to fuck shit up and i have my friend to fuck everyone in a 2km radius up with me"
You and your marching Germanic-style troopers XD
thats cuz we are the best at it
ah those silly germans
😂🤣
What are these Germanics you speak of. These are obviously members of the Emperor’s most loyal, The Death Korps of Krieg.
@@whtutlknabtwlls4266this might be a joke, but in this video they’re literally Germans.
That looks like a proper new faction for iron harvest
Devs should take notes

Finally iron harvest is back on the internet also wow the animation is wonders. Its really making me wish we will get a sequel to the game at some point
I hope they make it similar to coh2 if they are gonna make a sequel
I hope we would. Maybe not set in future or something, but let us see how WW1 went or other nations. I've seen fan concepts for Albion, shogunate and Iceland mechs, and I've even worked on some Spanish units concepts, so it would be great to see more nations and how they do
@@wearenumberone1111 i hope they get away from the shit CoH style of RTS in general maybe the game would actually be awesome then and not just a hard meh
Omg, the detail of the shell scratching the paint on the french mech ( 3:55 ), then all the bits moving with such weights comes crashing down. Its astonishing.
Standard mistake in Iron Harvest:
Placing your erlkönigs in the front, in the open, upon a hill, without protecting their flanks, knowing they have poor armor, facing the enemie's flagship mechs head on.
It seems they dont even have good AT capability to stop those little mechs, the best they have are the mortars on those power armor soldiers
@@henrycooper3431 amateurs
a single Isegrim or a squad of Gunners on guard could've taken stopped that Little Knight
Watching a comparatively-tiny light mech just *sprint* up to massive artillery units and just blip them out of existence in a blitz attack was _painful._ The Erlkönigs spent twelve years getting up that big dumb hill, get one kill, and then got blooped because no one told the Saxons that artillery can't defend itself at point-blank range.
@@thefez-cat well it could be implied to be *two* kills but that really isn't helping their case
ILS NE PASSERONT PAS!!!
Damn those French mechs are beautiful, always love WW1 French blue colored scheme.
POUR LA FRANCE !
Made absolutely horrific camouflage though!
The French heavy at the end was magnificent it just slowly but surely got up that hill but the sun being blocked and the fact the small mech heroically standing there only to be overshadowed by the hev
the final shot of the big boy cresting the hill is HOLY SHITTTTTTTTTTTT
4:51
Frankian gunner : "Louis, isn't it a dumb idea to just stand in front of their camp like that ?"
Frankian driver : "Ta gueule François ! I'm juste stricking a cool pose for the arrival of the big one."
Joke aside, I'm happy to see you're making animations again.
J'étais sûr que tu serais là 😆
The final moment! It just makes me want more of IH!!!
beautiful french mechs and good looking uniforms for the french too
damn, that is amazing
the mech slipping and the mortar scratch the mech, good stuff
Looks incredible. I can feel the heft and bulk of the biped big boys.❤
PS. Damn those Frankian Bastards!!!
thanks so much for the generous support
This sounds completely different out of context 😂

this is something really special janovich, this has got to be the best piece of animation for iron harvest i have ever seen. you've done an absolutely mind-blowing job on this. you and everyone who worked on this should be incredibly proud of yourselves for this achievement!
thank you!
I genuinely adore the design of the Frankia mechs and troops (the gas masks and bullet proof armor are amazing), but the little details are stellar as well. The soldier waving to the passing mech (god I wish that the Mech had honked its horn back), the Saxon mechs using the horns to indicate "Fortify here" and "Open fire," the painting on the Frankia supermerch, and the fact that as it started sliding you saw the mech lower its center of gravity so that it wouldn't tip over.
You put a TON of effort into this, and I hope you know that at least one person noticed all these little details and humanizations!
I love this, thank you for fueling my Iron Harvest addiction even more. Sounds and visuals of the heavy mechs and armor suits is just perfect
I love how they used star wars AT-ST sfx for the frankia scout mechs. Also that pop up machine gun turret remains me of the pop up guns of the French Magino fortresses. Very well done
That last shot was absolutely beautiful, perfect way to cap off the animation
Twirling my mustache in delight at this bountiful iron harvest gents, sickkk.
This came together fantastically!
I love the designs for the Frankian mechs, they fit right in with the aesthetic of the game!
So glad 1920+/Iron Harvest is getting some love
Great to see the Maginot Line get legs and start being more proactive. Amazing animation and sound design!
This is such a cool animation, and the attention to detail like the prints of the big guys leaving behind! :o
ngl, I paused when I saw the print on the back of that one that went down. She went down hard, huh? 🤭
Absolutely amazing animation and framing of the shots. In love with your use of the camera, it's not something I often see used to its full potential with fan made animations. Big up to everyone who worked on this, you should all be proud.
thank you!
I love 1920+, and I wish more people would make fan content about it like you just did. This animation is so dope, I'm just salty the french walker with the cool "tattoo" was the one to go down lol
All of the Frankian mechs look distincktly chicken-like.... the smaller ones even make the sounds like a chicken (altho several meters high and metalic one).
This was partially on purpose, on the one hand we wanted to avoid the Smialy (polish mech from the game) leg setup and create something unique, on the other hand it's a slight reference to Le Coq Gaullois (The Gallic Rooster), a national symbol for France.
Source: I designed the small French mechs as intern for Jano
@@Strokahof by far my fav mech design ever, the Maginot turret-like heads of the mech is a brilliant idea
@@ezechielveloth6724 thank you so much !
4:55 that warhorn is terrifying.
we need a ASMR video that is just the sound of walking mechs.
i loved the look, the feel, the atmosphere. My ork brain said "BIG CLANKERS GO BOOM MORE DAKADAKADAKA BOOM!!"
Pour Janovich et la Franquie ... GAAARRRDE-À-VOUS !
I know nothing of this universe, but that was one hell of an introduction! Incredible work.
афигенно, давно настолько хороших работ не видел
Wow, just wow. This is so well made, those 3d assets too. That's the groundworks for a faction right there.
It would be amazing if a Frankia faction mod came out using these assets.
Not sure I've ever seen french stuff in the 1920+ art or if they're even at war in that universe but you did really well to give them a distinct and consistent style!
Its bloody beautiful as hell mate.
I could spend all day just watching these mechs move.
Amazong work. Love Iron Harvest and the Scythe boardgame. You have no idea how bad i want you to animate the Airships of Usonia or any from Scythe!
4:53 "look father i did it!!"
That was awesome! Beautiful animation! Everyone who worked on this, did an amazing job!
nice little style detail with the cupola popping up on the little french walker
Holy shit. This was beautiful! Truly a work of art. The design of the Frankian mechs is excellent, and their movements are beautifully hefty and elegant.
Damn, just wow. The composition, animation. Attention to smal details, quality of props, particles animations. Just incredible. Amazing work my friend
Thank you!
Ok, now I either want a mod that adds the frankian faction or at least a video explaining what each mech is and how they could theoreticaly work in game.
It did a great job showing the scale of these mechs and how big and powerful they are. It’s perfect for the Great War. Also those French Mech looked great
I honestly love these WW1 type of stories, like they feel so immersive and just thrilling, like Martians invading earth, and these giant walkers. Its all so beautiful, and so underrated.
Honestly, Janovich.
You make me interested in that universe!
Great job 🤘
Have to say, this is a testament as to how great lighting can go beyond in selling an animation.
thank you!
Man that was awesome, you make me want for more!
The AT-ST sound-effects for the smaller walkers was perfect!
Above all else though, you really put across the scale and size of the walkers and the events happening; the panning across, the heft, and the lumbering / sliding really put it across.
Praise be, Janovich; excellent work!
THIS IS AMAZING !!!!!!!! Great job on the animation and the render
Outstanding work! Well done.
I love how the units involved are logical enough that I end up thinking tactically about them as I watched.
now this is incredible work! the final shot is so cool!
as someone who works in 3d, i can see the amonth of work behind this: cause you made the models, rigs and textures yourself, not talking about the animation work. Immense respect.
You have done a wonderful job I can't wait to see what else you come up with
i love how all the french mech have atleast one element of a land fort
I cant believe this is free to watch on CZcams. Amazing work man
Got Dang.
That's pretty cool, I love the decals on the French walkers.
Wa already kind of big to not put the french in a ww1 like style game but we were already used to it since bf1 who prefered to put Ottoman , Austria or the US than France the leader of the entente in ww1 ...
4:40 as someone who has finished the campaign and has 200+ hours in the game. This is surprisingly accurate to what happens when you leave your arty mechs undefended for 2 seconds
Incredible work.
As always.
Ooooooh, it's finally there.
The rooster-like walking mech is on point!
Really cool! I loved the feeling of weight in the mechs. The hill scene was really well done.
I also find it funny how this video demonstrates why tanks are better than mechs in all ways but coolness. Slow speed, big target, and harder to design.
Amazing model work, love it!
Tanks back then is incredibly slow tho, like most of the Mark IV and Mark V are lost by being too slow that the artillery just destroy them before they reach the trench
@@henrycooper3431that's in large part because most of those tanks were thrown together as fast as possible, most of them used tractor engines and other industrial components that weren't really meant for speed. Couple that with the fact that the blasted terrain of the western front making it extremely difficult to navigate makes for some very slow tanks. After a while people figured out that tanks would need to be faster, not just able to wade through muddy trenchlines, and that's when they started getting faster
Way too underrated, like wtf! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Even for people like me, who've never heard of iron harvest, this is a wonderful animation. 👍🏻
The 1920+ world is an interesting world that I wish more people knew about. The artist Jakub Rozalski has created an alternative universe that combines two of my favorite things, big ass mechs and world war one. I first learned about his art from the board game Scythe and thought it was a good blend of beautiful and hopeless. The Rise of Fenris expansion for the board game added a campaign that also expanded the lore of the universe, its story is basically just Nikola Tesla making mechs, giving this knowledge to the countries of Europa, and then the countries go to war with each other. This War caused Nikola Tesla to go mad and he closed the factory where he made all his inventions, now the nations of Europa fight for control of the factory and the nearby area. There is also a secret organization that is doing evil shenanigans that are the main baddies of the game but that is getting into spoiler territory. Anyways Iron Harvest is also a pretty good game, the story is good, the characters are neat, and the different game modes give the game a crap tone of replay value. I don't know why I'm yapping about 1920+, I guess I'm just a major fan of it and wished more people knew about it lol
this is h*ckin awesome!!!
i know this animatic isn't an original setting, but WW1 walkers is so novel, i love it so much
Damn i never knew there was more than just concept art to this!!
That was really solid, the walker movement style was spot on. You could really tell it was meant to be heavy. And the camera angles on the walkers was good, helped give a sense of size.
Yes! After all these years.
It's not just the glorious animation and camera work but the sound design is just a pure joy to listen to. It's so rich, detailed and always fitting, that is very hard to accomplish. *VERY* well done, Janovich!
Not gonna lie you have made one of the best 3D independent animation I ever see your work is so amazing and talented
Thank you :)
Fantastic work! Iron Harvest is a great game and you've done it more than justice. The mechs have an amazing sense of weight to them and the French designs are incredible (they even feel French). They need to consult you on any future games ngl. Well done!
What's better than the Maginot line ? A moving Maginot.
Amazing video
that was an absolute blast. These arent the types of videos you feel you wasted your time watching, as a matter of fact all your videos feel worth the time in that matter because of the amazing quality of the content.
Keep it up its absolutely amazing
Amazing as always Jano.
Points for showing the Frankish (French), but man it was sad to see those Erlkonig get toppled.
Fan made stuff is almost the best! So much detail I just love it
Very well acknowledging just how devastating such a ammo explosion would be.
Imagine not defending your artillery.
Thanks Janovich! Been waiting on this one for a while, Excellent Work!!
I love the fact that he write in french "il ne passerons pas" on the french walker, like Jaonovik take the time to do a research with google traduction.
Waking up to this is amazing this was so awesome
Absolutely incredible work! Thank you for making this video and sharing it.
THAT IS COOL AS FUCK. I love everything. The fact that smaller mechs have the maginot line, outwards extending turrets with machineguns is such a nice detail. I love everything about the design of the uniforms of the french and the massive behemots are so damn cool. Please, keep up the good work and hopefully, Jakub Rozalski may see this and make a french and maybe even a british faction. I love it and i am saving it. Very nice
For the Emper.... Uuuh... I mean... For the Kaiser and the Prince!
Oh hell yes! I love Rozalski's work, and I love Scythe. I like Iron Harvest too, but I kinda suck at it.
Excellent work!
French up to their usual speed freak shenanigans. I'd love it if this was in the game :). Great animation.
Majestic work as always!!!!
A BEAUTIFUL tribute to Jacob Rozalski's work!
Those Saxony heavy armored guys look excellent.
Would love to see more!
I didnt knew you could make such animations
Janovich is awesome at animations, and a great 3D artist, this animation just cemented that
thanks dude

This was amazing, the tower guard waving when they marched by was a good touch
