Introducing Iron Harvest newest faction: Usonia!
“Iron Harvest - Operation Eagle” is the new expansion to the critically acclaimed world of Iron Harvest set in the alternate reality of 1920+.

As much as I’m not a fan of the Brody helmets or anything before 1941, this still looks like a great dieselpunk alternate history concept and I cannot wait to see the end result. Also when will the flags of the Union be posted online? I’d like to see them unfurled in their full glory

I think if anything lots will be amphibian rather than just waterbased, I dont think sea by its own could get balanced with air superiority unless maps are hugelly redesigned (and restricted based on factions)

@@lorrdy7640 yeah depending on how much timeline and how much on the "scythe" world they put into the game it is possible.
*Still they should balance it IMO like CoH2, where the factions may have easier to deploy certain units early to portray to a degree the "battlefield evolution" overtime...
(In Coh2, this happens with Axis that have better vehicles (hardly balanced with allied ones) but allies have more flexibility with infantly and light vehicles, that can be spammed before proper axis counters, what may negate Axis the chance to be a menace... Iron harvest could use the same to for example allow a faction that have airpower to deploy that kind of ships lets talk about 10-15 minutes before otehr teams, what already could suppose a great advantage .

The Carrier is so op 6 of them pushing is hard to stop unless you have many anti air units. Ground units are lost against those.
Usonia is basically the typical RTS steamroll faction. You either have to rush them early or else starve them of resources, because if you let them get both their buildings upgraded and enough resources to build 6 Samsons stockpiled, then honestly you have nobody but yourself to blame for your loss.
Keep in mind you could build 9 Kaisers or 8 Turs for the same resources as 6 Samsons, and all of those firing at once will one-shot a Samson. Alternatively you build build almost 30 Smialys and those could one-shot a Samson while splitting their fire 30 different ways, plus they have the speed to actually avoid a lot of those drone bombs if you micro them enough.
The Samson's real strength is its ability to hold a choke point anyway. Position two of them on the far side of a narrow bridge and force your enemy to cross under fire. THAT'S when they become unstoppable.
