I'm not sure which is more unrealistic: the trees in the middle of the UEF base that weren't reclaimed for resources in the first five minutes, or the Mech Marines being airlifted into battle against T2, T3 and T4 units.
T1 spam is still very effective even in late game where you can throw out T4 units regularly. I watched one of the recent game and i must say they do the job of suppressing the enemy. I will put the link here. Time stamp would be 1:14:46 czcams.com/video/XMTlOI8Itto/video.html
@@Weigazod Late game is artillery and nuke duels. Experimental spam is late midgame. And while t1 spam is effective, it will be t1 tanks and artillery. Labs have lower dps per mass cost. And the ferry command whilst useful on archipelagoe maps, is not really used on Setons Clutch.
@@ineednochannelyoutube5384 Arti and Nuke are a component of late game. They are not the main dish. Arti and Nuke can easily be demolished with Experimental spam. T1 spam is situationally effective. Usually i would argue mech to be more effective than T1 mobile arti and tanks. If you are fighting T3 or T4, it doesn't matter the damage or health your T1 have they will get wreck in 1 or 2 volleys. The best thing you would want is to have them close the distance and deal whatever meager amount of damage to enemies. T1 mech is much faster than arti and tank, they suit this role much better. Although Arti can also be somewhat ok against certain T4 units. Just take a look at the link.
@@Weigazod Ravager walls, and t3 air spam shit down experimentals eventually. If one side starts the transition into superheavy artilley, the other either needs to crack their base before it completes, or start transitioning themselves, or they will be prevsnted from doing so by counterbattery fire. I have seen experimemtal spam crack an artillery base exactly once in 200 odd games I have played, and it involved complete naval superiority, and cruiser and battleship support to deal with the ravagers andd gunships. As for spam, exactly. It will at best get a single shot off, which is why you dont use labs, that deal no damage.

"Ultimate RTS experience" - stil totally valid
Supcom2 was an attempt to get more people into it. It doesn't impress me cause its too simple and more dumb down.
I'm not sure which is more unrealistic: the trees in the middle of the UEF base that weren't reclaimed for resources in the first five minutes, or the Mech Marines being airlifted into battle against T2, T3 and T4 units.
That airlift looks awesome enough to alow it to pass ;)
T1 spam is still very effective even in late game where you can throw out T4 units regularly. I watched one of the recent game and i must say they do the job of suppressing the enemy. I will put the link here.

Arti and Nuke are a component of late game.
I miss this game dude and I play this game when I was a kid like 8 year's old bro miss these!!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰
I think this one is much better than the second.
Best RTS Game ever, but i'm still looking for something even better!
Maybe in 30 years there will be a game that can come close to matching this masterpiece of an RTS. It is so good it set the bar up tooooo high!!! We miss you Gas Powered Games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Look up "Sanctuary: Shattered Sun".
About to do a marathon of the whole series. Watching the best trailer of the best game to get hyped.
When I first saw this trailer back in 2006 it blew me away.
The mechanics are perfect but I really wish they made a graphical remaster and added multicore support.
A shame it will never ever happen though. The devs shut down since 2018. I think the supreme commander series is owned by wargaming though.
@@Razgriz_01 Square Enix, actually
@@Golem-mo5wc And SE will just let it rot in the corner of their warehouse 'cause they aren't RTS developers.
downloading right now. hell yes. TA was an amazing game. hope this follows.
The best game I've ever played in my life
Who still watches this trailer in 2021?
Why this fantastic game not popular in that time?
It should be hot like age of empires today.
How can such good game be forgotten.
Watching it now is even more epic when you know the game and associate yourself with the Supreme Commander!
Still my favorite game in 2024. Supreme Commander forever.
2:27 the moment when I dropped my pants.
I swear dev teams back then used to have a crystal ball, the world may end up playing SC in real life.
YEAR 2022. STILL NOT A SINGLE RTS GAME THAT COMES EVEN CLOSE TO THIS ABSOLUTE GEM.
Planatary Annihilation?
@@kodeska8784 planetary Ann is fantastic as well but SupCom got years of updates, tons of contents and modes, community etc. Compared to this the modern rts of current time... That's what I meant.
Thank you, Chris Taylor, you're a true genius of gaming universe!
I remember when this trailer dropped.. I was SO HYPED
man I wish the Titans kept their Tac Missile/SAM Launchers, as seen in the trailer
Ну. мы до сих пор играем ^^
FAF для всех кто хочет больше
this is what Starcraft 10 should look like in 50 years !
Starcraft is about small unit Numbers, and micro. That’s why supCom is better - you can have an ACTUAL battle
Industry 4.0 in the making...I still play Supreme Commander today 😁
You can still play this game multiplayer on Forges alliance forever
2024 and SC FA still best RTS ever
You don't need top tier graphics it just needs to look good enough to play.
Still the greatest RTS of all time
SETOOOOOON!!!!!!
Лучшая РТС, даже в 2020 году.

This Game Together With Red Alert 3, C&C3 And Few Other Classics Show What RTS Truly Is And They All Came Out Around 2007-2008.
That Was Truly A Golden Age Of Gaming In General.
The Best Games Ever Conceived By Man Were Made From 2001 To 2010.
It Was The Era Of Legends:
The Original Halo Trilogy, Lost Planet, The Last Good C&C In The Main Series, Red Alert 3, Supreme Commander, Hoi3, EU3, CK, Doom 3, Cod WaW, Halo Wars...

I Forgot Some Legends Actually:
Warcraft 3, Starcraft 2,The OG SW Battlefront 1&2 And SW Empire At War, Company Of Heroes, The Codename Panzers Trilogy, WH 40K Dawn Of War 1&2, Dawn Of War Dark Crusade...
Truly The Age Of Legends If There Is So Many You Forget Some.

This is by far the best RTS I've ever played. I miss that game. I wish SupCom2 was at least as good as the 1...
Still and awesome trailer
Эх.2022 а всё ещё топ! Фаф рулит)
