MiG-19 is super underrated. I don't think all of the new F-4 players are aware how dangerous they can be.

I love the MiG-19! I've flown it in Enigma's a few times but really need to get back into it. Especially with all the really green F-4 players out and about.
Most of the multiplayer servers I go into are like 6 red and 30 something F4 blue players lol. It's crazy. Luckily most of them don't know what they are doing and try to dogfight everything with it.
I give it about 1 months before the teams start to balance out again

Yea I realized I would provide some form of context for them. I know some do know about DCS but there are plenty who've never ever heard of it.
You know you can remove the gun camera in the 'Special' tab for the 19? Really helps forward visibility

Nice but chaotic. You can get rid of the useless Gun camera in special settings . It will give you slightly more visibility.

the bugs with the f4 causing severe fps drops during the merge definitely hinders the f4's performance. its rough out there lol
Yes, altho despite the lag at the merge, this F4 will not beat a MiG-19 in a turn. Given the player commited, he would have lost anyway. Unless of course I get 3rd partied.

F4 really isn't a turn fighter. Just a missile bus.
@@Psiikix unfortunately most of the people using it behave almost like zombies. They just come at you no matter what. If they get to launch missiles or not. They go for the dogfights and I can't understand why.

@@TalonInvictus yeah, the model is great. It's the multithreading cache for the radar that needs that patch to roll out immediately because jesus dude.....
2 frames with the radar on vs 15 with it off? Or 40-60+ with other aircraft models.....its ridiculous

What this and Enigma has glaringly revealed is how desperately the F-4 sucks brass against any Russian built aircraft
I don't think the F-4E sucks. But a lot of the people using it are throwing the F4 into disadvantageous positions and easily getting killed. It's not great for dogfighting but it can be a pretty good standoff aircraft.
It does just fine, It has the upper hand in anything other than a dogfight. people just dont know how to play it

Most people flying it are brand new to it, and probably don't know how to use it effectively yet. Let's see how it is in a couple months.
