  • In this video I am going to take you around what I feel is the best loop for mountain biking at the Lunch Loops in Grand Junction, CO. You start by taking Tabeguache Trail to Pet-e-kes. Pet-e-kes will be the main trail you will climb up. This can be a challenging trial, but also very fun and rewarding. Then you will take a quick trip down part of High Noon trail, that will then lead you to Raven Ridge for a challenging rock climb and a fun flowy fast section that leads to a drop. You will finish up Ravens with a very rocky technical decent that will take you to Curt's Lane. From here you will be along the ridge for a minute, hit a steep short climb and come to an intersection where I like to take the middle (Curt's Down) trail. From there you hit the switch backs and ride on tot he parking lot. To find out why I think this is the best loop, please, watch my video.

    Nice video! Thanks for putting it together.
    Pet-a-kes to Ravens Ridge and down Curt's Lane is one of my faves, too!
    My all time favorite at Lunch Loops is starting on Little Park Rd, take Free Lunch to Tabeguache, then up Pre Nup.

    That is one heck of a loop! Those chunky steep climbs look like a good challenge and a great work out. This place does offer some pretty epic views too. Awesome work both on the bike and the video man, this was pretty entertaining

    Great video. Really like detail this is probably my favorite. Sometimes for a bit more I’ll do alley alley. Though makes it a bit longer but maybe only ten minutes or so if in good shape. But has some fun features. My alternate that would compare time wise would be three sisters up to alley alley to ravens and then back down curts.

    Going in the summer. What trail has the best jump line?

    • @Hollywood8714
      @Hollywood8714  Před 2 lety +1

      Right on! The lunch loops are not know. For their jumps. There is a little section at the bottom that can be sessioned, but as far as trials with jumps the lunch loops are not your spot. 18rd out in Fruita has a couple. I know PBR is a decent one, and there is another one, but I don’t know the name. The Valley is definitely lacking in jumps and jump lines. Have fun!
