Hardest MTB Trail in Fruita, CO - Moore Fun

- Moore Fun is an awesome technical ride best done in the southern direction. In this direction there is a challenging 750 foot climb with numerous punchy sections that will challenge the most fit riders but will reward those successful with awesome views of the Colorado River valley to the south. Then the trail follows a ripping, steppy, ledgy, technical decent. Woo Hoo!!

Awesome video, Ron. This loop looks a little over my head but I will look for a blue/blk in the Fruita area when we go through this spring. The views and general terrain look incredible. You handled this so smoothly. I appreciate your assessment and advice. Very helpful for me as I size up what trails I can ride without killing myself 😂
Thanks for the compliment! And yea, this trail isn’t for everyone but some other awesome trails to ride you might consider are the Hawkeye, and Horsethief Bench (if you don’t mind the hike down to the bench). A new Hawkeye video is coming shortly.
Great video and skills. I need another Crack at Moore fun as I was over my head on the rock when I rode it. The Western Rim was my favorite trail in that area.
