  • The Zippity Do Da trail in Fruita, Colorado is a fast, fun, flowy downhill run that most riders should be able to ride. It also offers sweeping views of the Fruita agricultural valley. The trail is ranked a black on Trailforks but I would suggest it is very ridable for those cyclists more comfortable on intermediate rides. There are no technical sections but there are a couple of steep but smooth runouts which is probably the only reason it could be ranked for experts.

Hey Ron, thanks for the video. My son lives in Colorado ad we've been meeting in Fruita annually since 2011. I agree with you about Zippity although my favorite trail is PBR.

Fruita is a great place to ride. In addition to Zippity, I rode a number of other trails in the Kokopelli region for the first time and can’t believe how great Fruita is! It doesn’t get the attention of Moab but it’s a great side destination. Thanks for watching!!

@@ronsanderson99 I make Fruita my first stop on the way to my son's house. It's a good start to acclimating to the altitude coming from LA.

@@roberttemme6162 yes! That’s a very good plan! Coming from Vancouver the 5,000’ elevation around Fruita takes some acclimatization!
