That dad must feel so accomplished. Not because his book is finally selling, but because he just got confirmation that he was a great dad.
What a beautiful character he is! I can't imagine being that upbeat for all that time, and it shows that he loves writing. Wish me luck with my own book! Writing an alternate history, alternate geography Earth with futuristic representations of a lot of under-represented cultures, and basically all of humanity teaming up to fight evil robots together :D
