- This 3 day, 61km hike on the outskirts of Fiordland National Park is set to be come one of New Zealand's Great Walks later this year. From the greenest forestry to alpine terrain, beaches and NZ history, the Hump Ridge Track has it all.
We were lucky to undertake this track in October 2022, and it is still one of my favourite memories from last year!

Good on ya, yes we did it in 2019 and found the last couple of ks uphill pretty difficult going ! we were 70 year olds though ! also the last day walking the old railway track area. But it was a fantastic track to tramp. Cheers great Video. Great that you did the loop, we did it the first night after a rest with the sun going down.
