The Hump Ridge Track - Fiordland New Zealand

We walked the Humpridge Track in Feb 2023. This was the last summer before it is due to convert to a Great Walk and before all the associated booking challenges. The 3 day track is still fairly tough with 20km+ each day and a lot of up and down. However the cruisy lodges and facilities make it a pleasure on everything but the wallet. The highlights for us were the coastal sections with the joy of seeing Hector's dolphins playing in the surf and the strange granite tor formations on the ridge top.
