My wife got me the Apres Pant in green for Christmas, and I absolutely love them. Burly, but comfortable. Great for lounging around, but even better as a travel pant.
I love the pictures and look of Taylor stitch but I’ve had a very mixed opinions about them. Yeah the fits are much more modern and I appreciate that as a man who also has a very v shaped body. I got their waxed long haul jacket and it’s fantastic, a great layer for the spring and fall and so far no issues. Where I’ve had issues is with their flannels. I got one of their flannels and I wore it 3 times with the sleeves cuffed and it ripped at the cuff. When I reached out to them, they told me to go get it fixed by a tailor and they would refund me the cost… but in store credit. That honestly left a sour note for me. In my opinion TS is a fantastic brand if you’re willing to gamble and have the money, I do think they are slightly over priced for being made in china and you can definitely tell they spend a lot of money on marketing and romanticizing heritage wear.
Thanks Nick. I first heard of TS through your channel and highly recommend the Ojai jacket, especially the wool one which I find myself wearing quite a bit.
That's funny I said in the video that I kinda want a wool one and you already have one! Yeah the Ojai is a dope jacket. I really want a black one but none are available right now!
@@Stridewise I have the olive/cotton which is great, but get a lot more use out of the gray/wool. Both are size 40, but the wool's sleeves are almost 1" longer and lined which is a nice added touch as it makes putting on and taking off easier. Love the Ojai. Thanks Nick!
When I saw $875 from TS I thought you would get maybe just a shirt and a jacket lol; that brand is so expensive, but very cool. I especially like their photography
Just bought the dispatch jacket in indigo cord and slim selvedge jeans. Both are decent pieces for the sub $200 range. No complaints. Their alpaca wool beanies are the lightest, softest and warmest hats I own. Eyeing the Long Haul selvedge jacket. Would love to hear an in-depth review of it from you Nick.
Hi Nick. I usually wear a size Medium if the fit is slim or a size Small if it's a classic fit. What size would you recommend for the Ojai Jacket? Thanks
they have good designs and great presentation, but since nearly all their gear is from china, i'll take a pass. but i do recommend their leather jackets from golden bear and their collaborations with stetson.
95% of TS is made in China now......I've got a few of their shirt on order this week and am looking for a higher quality shirt to start to update my aging wardrobe. I thought, wrongly, that they were a more crafted USA made product.
I love Taylor Stitches styling (I have an Ojai jacket) but wish their stuff wasn't all made in China. Will probably keep me from buying from them moving forward
@@Stridewise yeah they have a handful of pieces from other countries but the majority is made in China. The Ojai jacket used to be made in USA when it first came out, but the price point stayed the same when they moved to China. For their price points they also don't state the ethicality of their labor sources. Anyway, not trying to be a buzzkill
I stopped buying their stuff cause you can go up another tier without spending a whole lot more. Even made in USA stuff is just a little more in some cases. I bought a Yosemite shirts and it feels like cheap felt, looks terrible new and worse after I washed it 😂 sizing is weird too, you need super skinny arms to wear most their stuff. I wish I could get my money back from most of my stuff from them.
@@dieseldouche7735 off the top of my head? Freenote, Bravestar, mccoys, bronson mfg, old blue co, sugarcane, buzz ricksons. That should cover a wide base.
@@StolenAlias wish I had seen these before I purchased taylor stitch apparel. I was fooled into thinking they are quality which they at least seem to be.
In other words, the Chinese gave you $875 worth of stuff for you to shill for them! C'mon, if you're talking about HERITAGE clothing you should be focusing on American Companies as much as possible... that's where the heritage comes from.
Nick, I appreciate the full disclosure. Some channels just gloss over that and I think it important to be forthright.
Oh cool, glad you like it!

They are a great sweat pant
They're very cool, the rise is too low for me though!

That’s bad news when their model is built for the long haul..
Their styles are always on point IMO. Boss duck pant is one I've been eyeing for a while.
I swapped the ones you see in the video for a pair two sizes smaller, which may have been a bit dramatic but I like them!
@@Stridewise My only concern with their pants is how they seem to be vanity sized. I need a legit 29 and I'm not sure the 28 is small enough.

Thanks dude glad you liked
Lmao, love the dog. He's like who the hell are you talking to, what's going on? So confused right now, just pet me.
hahah I love little Dexter
Please mention sizing while reviewing.
......I'm looking at Gustin too......
Cool stuff man can’t wait for review!
Thanks man!
I wish TS would send me free stuff. It's half my closet lol

“Too Gun shy”, classic.
I found 8 men's shirts from this company at a thrift store for $7 each, I about dropped my phone when I looked them up because they felt better made.
wow looks good

how the hell do you do that one legged squat 🤕
I was too broke for a gym in my 20s so I did a lot of bodyweight workouts ;)

Thats a lotta TS dude…. Woah
It is! I'm maybe most excited about the gray Ojai, I don't have any lightweight grey jackets! Kinda wish they had a black one on sale
Where’s the boot collection vid?
Most of them are in storage it would be a huge production to get them all out!!

Heritage, made in China 😅🧐 lol
Ah yes taylor stitch, a brand that pretends to manufacture quality.
It's not? Oh...made in China.
@@alexsherel3344 yeah i mean their stuff is nicer than trashy mall clothes but compared to real heritage brands they’re 👎
