Part 2 • The Amazing World Of A...
In this video I had the honor of visiting with the president of our ham radio club Steve Porter. Also known by WA6YSM. Steve gave me an inside tour of his hobbie, and some of the latest technology amateur radio operators are using to make this hobbie more exciting than ever.

No joke just got more ham knowledge in this 1 video than the past 3 months of watching "pros" click bait videos on all of youtube...
This guy needs to have a camera and mic on him at all times just talking.
Great video for noobie like me.
And from a great channel I just found and subbed! 👍
For an unplanned interview, he sure did a great job of sharing his hobbie. Thanks for the comment, and 73s

This was a spur of the moment interview I had not prepared for, but Steves passion for his hobby really made it fly. Glad you enjoyed it.

I wonder the path of a radio signal traveling from a place that's supposed to be on the other side of a ball.
The flat earth people would loose their minds.
i have a question. the software he is using with the sdrplay it's called HDSDR i think my question is why did he choose HDSDR instead of other software such as sdrsharp or sdrtrunk? Thank u very much.
Because it has way more features. You can actually control your radio with it
