Mt McKinley, Expedition 2014, Cassin Ridge, West Rib, West Buttress

A five week trip to the Alaska range focusing on Mt Mckinley. The teams trip was cut short when part way through a climb during the third week Steve was avalanched and fell breaking his ankle. During the expedition team members made successful ascents of the West Buttress, one day ascents of the Cassin Ridge, West Rib, Mt Francis. Team members for the expedition were Daniel Joll, Steve Fortune, Matthew Scholes, Pete Harris, Ari Kingan

as someone who has spent many months galavanting around the Alaska Range, I commend your self-rescue and positive attitude. Many parties would have cried and called in a helicopter from way up on the route. Props to you, gentlemen! Here's to future success in Alaska!
