00:00 Lv2 Fire staff, Lv2 Mage robe, 0 Elemental skill, 40 running and jumping skill, nothing else
00:15 Quick dodge technique (press block + movement direction key + jump, press each key individually quickly in short succession)
00:23 Jumping on the Queen technique
01:22 Different casting animation technique (less efficient, only for style points)
01:30 Quick dodge technique again + jump cast fail (latter is a bug)
01:38 Starting applying the main technique: running away + jump casting
02:03 Didn't pay attention to the flying Seeker
02:16 Utilizing the ledge to get some rest
02:30 Disrespecting the Seeker

This is pretty much what I did, albeit with slightly higher skills. The fact that magic uses no stamina is a real game changer since it lets you be much more mobile but still able to attack. Cheers!

Haha, don't spoil it for yourself too much. The greatest thing about Valheim is venturing into the unknown prepared as best as you can be.
Seems tuned perfectly for the queen honestly lol all the other bosses were fairly easy

I notice you're not using the feather cape. Does the glide slow your jumps down too much, or is that just a preference?
looks like they cheated to get here for the video so my guess is they never made a cape
@@Killord101Adam The cape was purposely omitted, like the rest of the useful gear, for purposes of showcasing how mage is over powered. My main character in survival has all the gear and 2x the skill levels, and by playing with it, I wouldn't be able to get my point across.
The only reason I didn't use any additional gear is to demonstrate that mage is OP with just the fire staff, elemental skill at 0, and below average running and jumping skill. It's easier with the cape, because you can glide further from top of the stairs, thus increase your change of not getting hit.

What armor u runnin in the vid?
Just Lv 2 Eitr-weave, or commonly knows as mage robes. You can obtain it in Mistlands.

Yeah it would, the same as better stamina food, potions, cape, bosspowers, bombs, and higher skills. The purpose of the video was to showcase the real reason why mage is already OP without those.
I afk'ed a greydwarf spawner to level mine with the skeletons but during the boss fight I never got around to using it, too much going on. Still beat her, used some arrows too.

Yeah, a Ninja mage apparently. In addition to casting fireballs, you can also do other cool stuff that make the build even more OP.

@@Strickninesyeah, I believe the mist lands update added the ability to be a mage and I’m fairly sure there are a couple mage paths you can take
