- A casual ride on a greenway path beginning at Springbrook Park near McGee Tyson Airport, Knoxville, TN. What pretty much began as a spur-of-the-moment idea turned into a neat gathering of recumbent trike riders. Some rode further, one started late, one had a flat tire but we all ended up sitting at the same table at Panera Bread for an after-ride bite to eat.
This was the first time on a recumbent trike for visiting Lyn & Diane from Florida but it didn't take long for the trike smiles to appear!
This reminds me so so so much of my city of Adelaide Australia. I ride a Greenspeed Magnum and i am jealous watching this vid because it is winter here and am waiting for a nice day to get out with my trike. It has been a week since i have been out and feels like a month, good on you guys nothing gives me more pleasure than getting on my trike with my dog in the back and going for a ride on a sunny day

Thanks, Rafe.Bringing joy to others is quite enjoyable for us as well. Filming and editing usually takes hours and sometimes days to produce and quite frankly, that time is not always available. But folks like you make that task very pleasant.
For your information, when I'm filming I don't know what I've captured (I'm watching the road!) until I watch it in the comfort of home during the review process. So, I actually enjoy the ride twice; once when I'm there, and again when I see what you do!

Ruth, these are "recumbent trikes", a sit-down bike is something else. Now...….., get one! Come to the Recumbent Cycle-Con in Nashville, TN October 12-14 and ride a lot of them, EVEN ONE (or more) WITH MY CANOPY!!!

Giltron, I have an ActionBent, now known as Performer (and others) depending on who is marketing that equipment. You say 'model' but likely mean, 'brand', but if I was in the market I'd be shopping. However, I would be pleased with another Performer (brand) but would seriously lean toward their Aluminum (model) version which would shave off about 4 lbs off their steel version. With that said, the best recumbent trike for you, 'is the one you like'! Enjoy the journey!

Hi I like watching your clips as I am looking at getting my own trike can I ask how do you find the Performer as I gather that's the brand you have and if you had a chance witch would buy it again or another model.

Clay, I have quite a collection of captures but the workload necessitates focusing on shipping product out the door. I suppose living in a divided society may have something to do with it as well but happy where I'm at despite feeling sad for the lost souls. Thanks for watching.
There are models from various manufactures suited for just about anyone. However, without knowing anything about you or your riding habits, likes/dislikes, etc. recommending a recumbent trike would be as awkward as me buying you clothes to wear and mailing them to you! As for me, I find the ActionBent/Performer line a very good dollar for dollar value. Keep in mind, I perform all the routine maintenance, etc. Would I buy one again? Yup!
