I had all my sentimental memorabilia, daughter's school and baby pics, jewelry, etc., stolen from my car while moving. They busted out a window. Losing my daughter's baby pics, etc., has been so hard to accept. I still get choked up thinking about it, so I can understand that woman's concern.

There were at least 2 homes in this video that didn't have their doors locked - allowing strangers to just walk right in. C'mon people! In today's world we all have to be more vigilant & keep our doors locked at all times!

Pretty amazing carelessness. I had a cop stop by and remark about the storm was locked but I had the main door open for the heat, that I should keep them both shut & locked and wear a sweater😉

It would be nice if people would just not walk into people's homes. Like that is the real issue not the people leaving their doors unlocked. These people are completely out of line for evening breaking into people's homes and taking stuff that doesn't belong to them in the first place. We have a drug and mental health epidemic on our hands that makes me sad and frustrated. You can't even be nice to people anymore because of the aforementioned issues we have. It's a cold world for sure!
This type of behavior would end very very badly in my neighborhood.

In today's world with everyone having a cell phone with google maps on it I wouldn't trust anyone who says their lost. All you have to do is pull out your phone and google the address your looking for. Plus if they were really lost why not go to a convince store were it's more public?

I mistakenly did something similar: It was raining very hard. A friend and I had gone to a place of business. He was driving his light blue car. He dropped me off to run in real quickly. As I came back out (still raining as hard), I ran out and jumped in the car where he was parked. When I got in the car, a man threw his hands up. He thought I was robbing him. I looked in the back and saw a newborn baby in a car-seat. I was like "Oh shit I'm sorry. Wrong car." His hands were still up. I jumped out of the car and looked around. My friend had parked across the street. They had the same kind of car; color and everything. It was funny but it wasn't.

When I was younger. We had a longer drive way bc our house was on a hill… well I was probably 11 years old when this happened. I had a half day of school so when I got home my dad wasn’t home. I was just doing my own thing when I saw a car parked at the end of the driveway. At first glance I thought it was my dads car… until I saw a strange man just walking up the driveway throwing his hood over his head. My mom was home so I ran to tell her if she knew someone was coming over? She immediately told me to run upstairs and hide in my bedroom closet with my little brother… the min the dude got to our front door he was trying to pick at the door handle, banging aggressively on the door, peaking through all the windows…. The way my dogs were barking wasn’t like their normal bark when they’re curious it was mean and aggressive… My mom called 911 bc the dude kept at this for some time. I was shocked he didn’t bust a window honestly. But as a little kid my first thought in my head was “how did I go from being at school to this situation? Im literally gonna die in my closet this is was you see in the first 48.” Luckily he gave up but I’m an adult and I’m still scared to even grab my trash from the bottom of the driveway… these people don’t realize some of their wack or weird asf actions scare people….

Two days ago I had someone walked in my house like he thinks he own the apartment. I cussed him out and called the police for the report . I don't have doorbell camera. But, it high time that I better get one. I wasn't scared at all. Just pissed at him. But he got scared and left. He was afraid of me. Hahaha. I had no weapons at all

They did. I am 5'3 and the guy well he's 5ft even. So, he has no weapons, neither do I. But he was scared of me. LOL. At least, my neighbor told me that on her scanner they caught him. He wasn't far from where I lived he was up the street and same description I gave the police. I was happy about that. Turned out this guy was on warrant and he has done that to someone else.
