i dont wanna sound like crazy but 0:56 “its mariah” sounded like 90s. when she did those interviews and she would speak lightly almost like in a whisper.
Her natural speaking voice hasn't been changed, that's why she sounds the same when it comes to her speaking. Sometimes it might be sound harsh or exhausted from her overworking tour, but still have naturally low and a bit rich-raspy voice. While her vocal technique was changed due to her nodules, and those thing are totally different (I meant her speaking technique and singing technique since she wasn't trained to sing like how her usually speak).
But shes more confident in 2022 even if she sounds constricted.Her confidence here is much higher than the entirety of 2017-2019 live performances. while she is preparing for MC16 Album thats why she sounds tired.
I think she’s getting the rest she needs now that are kids are older. Plus Nicks child support checks are garbage now! Lol that’s great motivation to get it together for the twins
Idk why people don't like it honestly cause to me this sounds pretty good. The tone the energy everything is pretty good. She didn't do crazy high notes and runs like the study version or her tours but this is still really pretty. I've watched this before and the only reason I clicked on the video was cause I was hoping it was this version so I get to hear it again.
She already has reworked the song through the decades, most prominently in the Rainbow era where she was in the most similar state as she is in this performance.
@@jawn5661 The rainbow era is when she was able to belt high notes and was still had good a fluid tone,stable belts and and only a tiny cracks her voice is gone and the only way she can get her voice back is unless she gets the nodules removed or retrain her voice.
I have a theory. I just found out she's doing 2 Christmas concerts this year so maybe she's trying to get back into the swings of performing again for those 2 concerts with this. Just a theory 🤔
