    I think this was actually a really good interview.. Because she digged deeper, which made Tuomas explain in ways I havent seen before! It's fascinating to se how well thought out he is about his own filosophy. There are alot of people in the world answering stuff just because there is a trend that you should answer like this or like that, and if you'd try to dig deeper there would be no substance. But here you can clearly see how individual and inteligent Tuomas is! Since he normaly is kinda sparing on words (compared to what he clearly could be) this was really intresting. Minus, on him at times feeling forced, but hey, that made it evident that even when forced he shows a really true filosophic foundation.

    • @Scotsgit
      @Scotsgit Před 9 lety +4

      It's like she has no idea about who she's talking to: I'd say it was amatereurish, but a lot of Faceculture's work has been high quality and good at drawing the interview out of the interviewee. This was badly prepared and badly executed.

    • @ameliarose727
      @ameliarose727 Před 9 lety +3

      Alan Frize I think a language barrier also added to the awkwardness. I am really perplex why many magazines/companies assign interviews to interviewers who are not adequately proficient in the language of their subject.
      I remember an interview NW had a few years ago where the poor band spent most of the air time trying to decipher what the interviewer was asking!

    • @Scotsgit
      @Scotsgit Před 9 lety +2

      Margo Belle-Fleur I'd agree - I got the feeling she had a lot of problems with English, it would have been better to either have a native speaker or have the interview in Finnish and have it subtitled.
      One thing that annoys me is that there a lot of us who wait eagerly to hear about our favourite bands and artists and this was a let down. I appreciate that she was trying her best, but wouldn't it have been better to have her work with a native speaker who has more experience?

    Not to be a smartass, but...
    _Robert_ _Frost_ (Not Walt Whitman)
    TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
    And sorry I could not travel both
    And be one traveler, long I stood
    And looked down one as far as I could
    To where it bent in the undergrowth;
    Then took the other, as just as fair,
    And having perhaps the better claim,
    Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
    Though as for that the passing there
    Had worn them really about the same,
    And both that morning equally lay
    In leaves no step had trodden black.
    Oh, I kept the first for another day!
    Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
    I doubted if I should ever come back.
    I shall be telling this with a sigh
    Somewhere ages and ages hence:
    Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
    I took the one less traveled by,
    And that has made all the difference.
    _Words_ _to_ _live_ _by_.
