You were taken by it, because that beautiful tall Dutch Angelic voiced Goddess from above... Is the best! And Nightwish is like a total different band now. Because floor has an unlimited range top to bottom of the spectrum, any genre, any style and she can come hard raspy Like Pat Benatar and Wilson or she can be as graceful as Celine Dion, if you want to get into classical... Not Opera though that one-dimensional sound that tharja sang like, just didn't fit Nightwish. Now they are true not quite classical come but badass symphonic metal Masters with floor Jansen. Put it bluntly, there's one question everybody has on their mind after hearing floor for the first time, and that is... Tarja and Annette who? That's right boys y'all hit the motherload, horseshoe up the ass, hit the lottery or whatever kind of metaphor you come up with by having floor Jansen heading the charge on the mic. And I just like to thank God mainly. Why? Because now, he's short 1 Angelic goddess with the voice to match, and I'm sure you happy about that.
Tarja suited nightwish and the songs they wrote for her at the time. Stop giving life to that stupid feud.

It's cool. The interview is held in English so we just write the questions in finish, dutch or whatever that is.
Agreed, the questions weren't being asked in Finnish though - I paused it and put one of the words into Google translate - apparently it's Polish.
As much as I like Epica's music and I think Simone has a nice voice, you can really tell who's the better singer here. Not that it matters much, just an observation.
Floor really should use her operatic voice more on coming Nightwish albums. I know it's not her to decide that, but still.

Totally. Simone is very flawless in her voice.
Floor's voice has taken a hit through the years and is a lot more gruff lately.
