Crazy thing is drogon was only like 8 years old. Imagine if he lived 200
He wasn’t that big. This list is bs man
@@ModelFossilist ? Drogon was pretty fuckin big. In the show atleast
@@evanmildrum897 dont look show just look books in the show syrax didint grow up in 15 years
it depends, people are comparing all the book sizes to show sizes to prequel sizes to even other books sizes lol.
i don't think people will be happy to see how rapidly & big drogon is in the Snow sequel if they show him due to how fast he grows compared to all other dragons we know of to existed even if every dragon is compared on one standard.
Canonically, he would not get a significant change in size.
The showrunners clearly did not know how Dragons' aging process work, they wanted the dragons to be massive on TV so that people would be in awe by them.
Vhagar was confirmed by the VFX artists to measure 150 meters(492ft) in length). Plus there ain't no way that Balerion is only that size compared to Vhagar. Balerion was born in 114BC and was the last creature to have ever seen Valyria while Vhagar was born in 52BC on Dragonstone. Balerion was 6 decades older than Vhagar by the time of her birth alone. And he kept growing for another 92 years until his death. Balerion would be easily at least 50% bigger than Vhagar. Also Vermithor is smaller than Vhagar only being the second biggest after her and third biggest after Balerion.
Cannibal dragon?
In Got it is confirmes that the other sister of Aegon had also a bigger dragon than Vhagar. I think it was Meraxes
💚💚
It is mentioned in Fire & Blood that by the Dance of the Dragons, old Vhagar is almost as big as Balerion was.
@@13aivan Amost as big as balerion was > AT THE TIME OF THE CONQUEST < he then grown another 100 years
It would've been nice if there were different size airplanes as size comparisons while going along with each dragons. It doesn't have to be planes, it could be animals or different machineries. Just a visual reference would've been perfect.
it would be impossobile af for larger dragon we only know(mostly) which is bigger
Even a 747 looks small when it's flying into the Grand Canyon
Verrmax is almost 2x the size of Arrax. Arrax was the smallest Dragon flying in HotD.
Mad how vermithor is 100 years old and nearly as big as vhagar and she’s 170ish. I’m sure if vermithor lived another 100 years he’d outgrow balerions size
That's what I've been saying. Don't sleep on my boy vermithor. If he's nearly vhagar size now and he's 70 years younger there's no way he wouldn't be bigger than vhagar at the same age
He's actually 85-90 ( Vhagar is 182 , Vermithor is in his 90s ) years younger then her . Maybe male dragons grow faster becuse they don't have to lay eggs , protect the clutches non-stop instead of roaming and hunting
I think the fact is that Vhaega is the biggest followed by Vermithor. We only dont wanna agree because we are mostly on the black side and not green
💚💚
both vhagar and vermithor will be on green's side anyway
Vermithor is smaller than Vhagar
@@jaimenazaryan860 i thought daemond claimed vermithor?

Balerion , Vhagar , Maraxes ( if lived long enough ) Cannibal , Vermithor , Silverwing , Caraxes , Grey ghost , Sheepsteeler , Drogon , Meleys , Seasmoke , Rhaegal , Viserion , Sunfyre , Dreamfyre , Tesserion , Syrax , Vermax , Arrax , Tyraxes , Stormcloud , Morghul , Morning , Shrykos , The Last dragon
If meraxes lived as long as vhagar she'd be bigger than vhagar
The mountain is not 2,6m tall. It's actually 2,06m.
Hafthors height is 2,06m (6ft9). The mountain as a character is apparently supposed to be close to 8ft
Some of these aren't correct. Vhagar in the show was confirmed to be nearly 500 feet long. While Balerion was roughly 20% larger than she was, which puts him at roughly at 600 feet.
That is stupid, that puts balerion at inly being 100 feet shorter than the mfing wall
@@tcw_6609 Well yeah. When he flew over cities, his shadow literally covered everything in shade. He was the largest dragon ever in that world.
This list was so confusing. Doubles with contradicting information... Also the Cannibal is NOT as big or bigger than Balerion... Not even as big as Vhagar.... What even
Please show us always a human or a small dragon as comparison otherwise we can only see numbers and pictures but not the real size of the dragons( my English is bad , I’m sorry) but I guess you know what I mean

@@SLMADE seems like u forgot dreamfyre , the dragon of helaena whos apparently almost the same size as meleys
"About the size of Balerion or even bigger" is just pure speculation.
Its a logical choice we had to made..Since the cannibal is said to be alive even in the events of GOT
@@SLMADE No just no. It’s a theory. Y’all gotta fact check these stuff 😂
@@SLMADE that's a theory, there absolutely no proof that supports the idea that Cannibal is still alive, you should more research for your videos
@@SLMADE That still in no way means he'd be big or nearly as big.
Old comment but this is just nonsense.
I want to see Cannibal
Cannibal is smaller than Vhagar and Vermithor, possibly Silverwing as well, and no where near the size of Balerion.
He was said to be the largest of the wild dragons, that doesn't mean he is bigger than the aforementioned dragons.
I don't know where this idea that he is the same size or bigger than Balerion comes from. I think it might come from the fact that Fire & Blood says that some of the smallfolk on Dragonstone, say that Cannibal was already on Dragonstone when the Targaryen's came to the island, but that is a theory that is dismissed by anyone with even a little education such as maestors.
Personally, I like the theory that he was the dragon that hatched with Maegor the Cruel, but Maegor disregarded, could explain why he was so unruly.
Theres pretty solid evidence than the Cannibal is fucking huge by its interaction with Sheepstealer. Sheepstealer is almost the same age as Vermithor and spend his entire life in the wild and not in captivity like Vermithor spent a decent ammount of his life, that in itself suggests he'd at least be a similar size to Vermithor if not even bigger. Now keep in mind when Silver Denys and his sons try to tame Sheepstealer, The Cannibal comes down and bullies sheepsteler away and eats the 3 men for himself. Sheepstealer is repeatedly described as aggressive and we know he killed more dragonseeds during the sowing than seasmoke, silverwing and vermithor combined. For the Cannibal to be able to drive off Sheepstealer without having to even fight him clearly indicates than the Cannibal is fucking enormous and AT LEAST bigger than Vermithor for certain and very likely Vhagar too. I would imagine the Cannibal is a very similar size to Balerion.
sunfyre was not bigger than syrax as he hatches on dragon mount in and is then claimed by aegon in 120 ac but he was born abt 115-17
I really need a human to scale all the time to understand this
Vhagar is bigger than Vermithor, but Vermithor is newer than Vhagar.
That means it will grow even more.
Vermithor is still a very very large and powerful dragon. If the only ones bigger than you are vhagar and balerion that means he's one big dragon
@@josephayers7395 the fact that he isn’t much smaller than vhagar and still younger proves how much of a beast this guy is
An example of this is Drogon, he approximately 7-8 years old and in the last Season of GoT he was already the size of his mother Dreamfyre.
Balerion died at over 220 years, just think If Drogon is only 8 years old he has at least another 150 years of growth, giving the absurd notion of the size he can reach.
@@lucasguazzelli4557 yeah for 7 years old his size was surprising, i mean he would definitely be bigger than balerion by a hundred
@@lucasguazzelli4557 i agree plus i feel if dreamfyre was free like drogon will be bigger then vhagar beacuse she is even older then vermithor!
Funny how this is missing dreamfyre oh well
Showed a bunch of pictures and I still don't know the sizes by comparison
Sheepstealer is far bigger than where you put it. Its almost as old as Vermithor and spend his entire life in the wild where the dragons grow bigger. Sheepstealer is almost certainly at least bigger than Caraxes if not a very similar size to Vermithor/Vhagar which shows how fuckin huge the Cannibal is to drive away Sheepstealer without even having to fight him lol (especially since we know how aggressive sheepstealer is with how many dragonseeds were killed by him in the sowing)
Wild dragons don’t grow bigger. Cannibal is smaller than Vermithor and Sheepstealer is described as “a skinny brown dragon”
Vermithor is stated to have already been the third largest dragon after Balerion and Vhagar by 48 AC. And Vhagar is stated to be the largest living dragon by the time the Dance began.
Arrax is Tiny, Vermax is way bigger in the show you can see them flying side by side
Both can be destroyed by Vhagar in one bite, Vhagar is the standard here, she's so fukin big man!
I felt sorry for Arrax!

The Cannibal was not as big as Balerion but The Cannibal grows only when aging and he might still be alive so The Cannibal must have grown to almost double the size of Balerion
Cannibal didn’t grow larger than Balerion. Dragons die of old age because they grow so large that their body can no longer sustain itself.
@@MorallyDubiousFrog The Cannibal Survived the Dance of Dragons where most Dragons Died and even if he lived shortly after he still survived almost a century more than Balerion. But i get your point
you seem to be confused Arrax was tiny compared to Vermax and Vhegar is the biggest dragon alive Vhermithor is the next big and Silverwing after consindring they are a mated pair that was hatched almost at the same time. And Syrax is certainly bigger and older than Sunfyre
This is actually fire 🚀🔥🔥🔥🔥

@@SLMADE thanks for the rp
Drogon tops this list when he comes back 👍
Isn't he a black drake just like baleron? If so it makes sense Drogon would be the same or even larger than Baleron.
Drogon was only made big for the show, in the book he was just large enough for Danny to fly on
Balerion was already over 100 years old during the conquest, so of course he was that big. Drogon is not even 10 years old.
Vhagar is the biggest dragon during the dance and Vermithor is 2nd
At 150 m long from nose to tail that means Vhagar's wingspan is at least 300 m, and that means she is about as big as Ghidorah and way bigger than even Godzilla. Let that sink in. Balerion could literally eat Godzilla then, and Cannibal is even bigger yet!!!
Dude, she didn't look even close to the size of Godzilla, let alone Ghidorah. Get your eyes checked. JRR Martin tries to at least keep things feeling more realistic than that. Sure he'll allow dragons to be very large, but the way his dragons die of old age is literally by them getting so large they can no longer fly or even properly move. They die like a beached whale due to size, if they live long enough. They don't become friggin Kaiju.
@@mikerude5073 It doesn't matter how big she looks on the show, that's how big the VFX artist said she is in length, so it's cannon.
@@superneedlemouse3024 Yes, it does matter how big she "looks", and it's possible the VFX artist meant wingspan, because she wasn't specific about which part of the dragon was that length. If she doesn't look big enough to give Godzilla a decent fight, then she probably meant wingspan.
@@mikerude5073 bruh, learn the meaning of the word "long". Something you probably never hear lol. The only thing that can mean is nose to tail and it doesn't matter how big she looked if thats what the VFX lady said.
@@superneedlemouse3024 You keep repeating that the "long" has to mean nose to tail, but you haven't posted any evidence for that. It just as easily could mean wingspan, and insults are not a good substitute for logic or reason.
Wun Wun was definitely way taller than that💀
All of them are Godzilla's breakfast
What if Drogon lived 220 years like Balerion the Black Dread, how big would he be?
Behold......The Pink Dread
Drogon is the same size as the cannibal what?
Wow 100m long, the size of a third of an aircraft carrier deck
The actor who played the mountain is 6'9"
In the books he's close to 8 feet tall
How tall is Vagar? Because I only know that it is 150 meters long
The dragons in these 2 series vary in size from scene to scene as bad as Godzilla.
It's not Right
Cannibal is 4th Biggest Dragon 🥱
1 - Balerion
2 - Vhagar
3 - Vermithor
4 - Cannibal
The mountain is more like 7 feet 10 inches or around there
VHAGAR is bigger than VERMITHOR
This comparison is not accurate guys
Heres my ranking
Balerion,
Vhagar,
Cannibal (I believe it was born of the original valariyan dragons in the period 42BC - 30 AC as there are no recorded dragons of this era, and id wager the original three did have more offsprings before Dreamfyre),
Vermithor,
Silverwing,
Meleys (age not known, but was capable of soloing Vhagar and live, Caraxes wasnt),
Dreamfyre,
Meraxes (was bigger than a 42 years old Vhagar but her age is not known, and as is mostly the case age->size, if she's around a 100 id put her above silverwing),
Sheepstealer,
Caraxes (half the size of 180 yo Vhagar, this i believe not to be the case length wise but overall massiveness as Caraxes was a serpentine dragon),
Syrax (said to be almost as big as Caraxes, again not length but overall massiveness),
Quicksilver (quarter the size of 150 yo Balerion),
Seasmoke/ greyghost/ Tessarion, Sunfyre
💚💚
You are missing Sheepstealer, Sheepstealer was believed to be born when King Jaeheris was young, which would make him only 5-15 years younger than Vermithor, So I'd put Sheepstealer right under Vermithor
Meraxes was probably 80 when she died, also we don't know If Meleys could defeated Vhagar alone, she had a chance, doesn't mean she would win, Meleys and Caraxes are roughly same age, same size
I think you right for cannibal age, I think he between 100-150
There's a good theory that Cannibal was Maegor's cradle egg, because the timelines match up pretty well and they have a similar temperament, and we never find out what happened to his cradle egg
Vermithor is also in hod
in which episode

Its kinda confusing with you listing some of the Dragons twice.
Either put dragons shown in both shows or the dragons sizes in the books, both is confusing and some dragons are bigger than that was shown and some smaller

And Baela Targaryen said that Moondancer could beat Cannibal...🤭
Sometimes I fell like a stupid seeing things about dragons. I'm a grown man

Sunfyre is same size as Syrax and Meraxes is at Vhagar size

This video shows... that he didn´t have read the book.
Hi, it would be better if I don't give credence to fans' incorrect information, because my comment will definitely be positive for CZcams stats. You got the dimensions of the dragons wrong, especially Vaghar's which is 492,126 feet, which is about 150 meters. Everything presented after Vaghar is therefore false. In my opinion, Balerion has a minimum size of 492,126 feet, but it is probably larger, with an estimated size between that of Vaghar and 500 feet, or even more. However, I cannot say for sure, as no precise data has yet been provided on the exact size of the Black Terror.

I don't understand how Danys dragons are already so massive and they are like 3-5 years old
Only in the show, cause the writers wanted them to look cool. In the books they are way smaller.
Easy ,books versus show.
So it is heavily hinted while dragons grew far larger than those in captivity. It was also stated there are several varieties of dragons that got to different sizes
The showriters wanted it, and Dany is especially magical or something. Drogon grows faster in the books than any of the dragons during the Targaryen dynasty did, probably enviromental probably magical. But Viserion and Rhaegal just shouldn't be that big

Yeah the showrunners just made him big to fit their story line. He would have been very small in reality.
@@mowbray231 We don't know that. Drogon may end up being very large. Keep in mind the books intended a 5 year gap where Drogon would just be flying around feeding in the Dothraki Sea. With that type of environment, with naturally fast growth, anything could happen, George may even speed up the process to get to Dany's burning of KL in the books. He's already way too big in ADWD. And he and Daenerys are some sort of special magic prophesized characters. Drogon is probably too big in GOT compared to the HOTD dragons, but compared to the ASOIAF dragons that were much larger, it's justifiable. He definitely shouldn't be that big, if they aren't going with such sizes in HOTD, though - he's in no way comparable to Vermithor or Vhagar or Meleys
@@podefunder There really just isnt any defending Drogon being like 10 years old and being a comparable size to dragons like Caraxes tho lol. I dont think anyone has a problem with him eventually growing extremely large but the timescale for him to grow as huge as he did in GOT almost takes away from the marvel of the dragons in HOTD when they're like a similar size to him despite being like at least 50, maybe 80+ years older in some cases. (I just choose to ignore Drogons size in GOT at the last few seasons lol)
Its already starting wrong because morning didnt grow in size at all

i think Balerion is the biggest Vhagar is only second 🤔
Cannibal might be as big as Balerion, we don't really know. To me it would be weird for any living dragon to be bigger than Balerion when he's routinely called the largest dragon. And also weird to think he's larger than Vhagar who predates the Conquest by over 50 years. IMO Cannibal is Maegor I's cradle egg, which would make him larger than Vermithor but just smaller than Vhagar and Balerion. Also this includes the HOTD dragons and ASOIAF dragons as 2 different things.
