As a Chet fan and player of over 50 years I feel qualified to say that he makes this tune look deceptively easy to play. I assure you it is not. If it were, you would see many more videos on here by guitar players. Only Sean Weaver has ventured forth in this venue. It's also amazing that a guitar player over 28,000 views when the most well known version otherwise, the Andrews Sisters, has but 7800.
From Chet's "At Home" LP. That record contained many of my favorite Chet tunes but ironically I don't think his recorded guitar sound was all that great. Years later he got a fabulous sound on his Guitar Country LP. I just wish he would have re-recorded the same songs from AT HOME during the same sessions.
The tabs are impossible to find on the net. But my teacher and I have put them together. Anyone wanting the tabs can email me at gppc-cppg@live.com. Been practising this for over a year and a half. Quite difficult but possible. So beautiful, though, like the last song you hear before you die ... or some such romantic think ...
The Greatest!
There's only one Chet Atkins! Listen to whomever you wish, but no one can replace him.
well said he truly is the GREATEST - Atkins not Clapton is God !
This version of 'Say Si Si' is f*****g amazing!

The master at his trade.
A true pillar of the "Republic."

It doesnt look easy to me. Chet is so relaxed, never breaks a sweat. Other
pickers would be biting their tongue.
