@@CjplaysYT There's quite an interesting reason it's like that. Somewhere in Bridgeport, there is a road, that accidentally, has another road on top of it. Causing the game to panic and lag out.
I usually have a lot of issues with it too. My sims will call someone to their house, and they will not arrive (even though they accepted it) or either it takes them a good few hours to get to the intended destination. I especially loath the subways, as they take a long time to go through (sometimes up to 2 sim hours) and it causes many of my sims to be late to their job.
It's 👏called 👏living👏 in👏 a👏 city👏

Sunset Valley and Riverview are my fave worlds to play in.
I like Sunset Valley, I’ve been playing in it a lot more since I made this video lol!! I used to play in Riverview a lot some years ago!! It’s a nice world!! Thank you so much for watching!! 😎💯
Aurora Skies is my Sims 3 store world darling. It’s northern inspired beautiful world that provides a lot of great pack integration opportunities: the premade families, small town vibe and the kid friendly community lots provide a perfect setting for family gameplay, love seasons because the snow adds even a better aesthetic, the dollhouse architecture that some people seem not to like very much give me minimalistic, cozy yet modern architecture vibes and that along with my tendency to play generationally here and that beautiful night sky makes it the perfect pack to also integrate with Into The Future and meet family descendants down the line and use the astronomy career in that beautiful world!
I recently got Aurora Skies so I haven’t really explored the whole world yet, but I really want too know!! And funny you should say that!! I literally did a video the other day where I corrupted my game and I used Aurora Skies as the world we lived in, and I ended up traveling into the future!! 😂😂

My ranking in your tier system would be:
PRISTINE
• Sunset Valley (pretty, great families, world lot layout and awesome lore) - I play here every now and then rotationally with premade sims and integrate it with different packs
• Bridgeport port (best downtown world and nightlife of the sims franchise; I just don’t like that you don’t have apartment neighbours and some Sims have very similar personalities and careers)
• Island Paradiso (runs well on my old gaming laptop, best beach world of the franchise, house boats, lore, island culture, islands to discover and even underwater, fun premades, resorts, great for a travel world too)
• Aurora Skies (great for family, generational gameplay due to small town vibes, nice premades and kid friendly lots; awesome to integrate Into the future to find descendants and astronomy career goes well with the minimalistic architecture)
• Hidden Springs (great for big rich family gameplay, using the real estate investment in community lots side of the game and it’s also nice to explore skill based careers and new passions for rich sims that retired or came there to follow their passions and it could also be good for an occult save file brighter than Moonlight Falls for fairies or werewolves for example)
OKAY but
• Twinbrook (almost pristine, great lore and world but the sims are not my favourite)
• Appalooosa Plains (really interesting premades, great vision, nice lots)
• Moonlight Falls (love the aesthetics but sometimes the mix of occults all here bothers me a little)
• Lucky Palms (great drama opportunities from premade families, nice lore, nice looking world even for someone who prefers green lush ones like me)
• Monte Vista (great for big families and generations, love the Italian and Mediterranean aesthetic, good for pets and horses)
• Riverview (great for vanilla, family gameplay and rags to riches)
• Roaring Heights (too many rabbit holes and doesn’t have all lot types I want, but I really like the families and aesthetic)
• Travel inspired worlds
• Sunlit Tides (bland toned down beach world compared with Island Paradiso, with less soul; but could be useful to use as 4th destination along with the ones from World Adventures)
• University world (provides great campus experience but the dorms are so bleh and need renovation every time)
• Oasis Landing (wish it had more)
• Midnight Hollow (good for vampires and evil occults)
I DON’T GO HERE
• Starlight Shores (forgettable, bland)
• Lunar Lakes
• Dragonvalley
• Barnacle Bay

I agree with everything you said about the worlds. I love how in depth you are about your reasonings. Moonlight Falls is my favorite. When I play sims 3 I always end up using Moonlight Falls ❤ I love your videos keep it up ❤

You do a LEPACY challenge, both Sunset Valley and Riverview are a must, since those are the only two non store worlds that you're allowed to use, except may be a base game only custom world, and even than a lot of those are just horrible because the people who made them either didn't know what they were doing, or they were just lazy.
I love that you put worlds (that most simmers i know, atleast, would put low) so high! I recently got Hidden Springs only for Bert Alto actually cause i love the Altos so i also like Sunset Valley but mostly for the Sims there.

Right!? I would've been all day making that video lol. And I love that Lepacy idea!! I used to get Starlight Shores and Bridgeport mixed up back in the day. They have a similar vibe though. And it would've been cool to have university in every world. And you're right!! I definently like that Sci-fi play style!! I would like to learn how to make a custom dive lot one day. Weird thing with showtime and barnacle bay is that when playing with both activated everyone in barnacle bay is a celebrity.
I've never heard of that before, and I think disabling things in the menu really only works in brand new save files. I know sometimes having things turned off already still may not work. Kinda like how you can disable memories, and they still pop up.

I think that the Late Night Apartments are the ones with "fake shells." It's the one's that come with University that are their own lot designation and function a bit differently than a regular house.

Every world I have created since Mystic Stone Bay includes at least one dive lot, so if anyone, including you, needs help with that, I might be able to help them out.
It's because of such videos that im telling myself i should start playing on other worlds bcs i barely know any stories from the other worlds than Sunset Valley lmaooo. I play only in Sunset Valley and played in Bridgeport and Twinbrook a little bit ages ago but always came back to Sunset Valley. Recently i've started my legacy challenge in Monte Vista and i pretty like the pre made sims there and the city architecture. However i do agree it takes so long to go somewhere so i end up just using the teleport cheat for my sims xDDD

Moonlight Falls is the top tier of all worlds. Literally my favorite world. My top 4 worlds: Moonlight Falls, Sunlit Tides, Midnight Hollow, and Monte Vista. Love all 4, but, my go-to world is Moonlight Falls. My top 3 LEAST favorite worlds: Bridgeport, Roaring Heights, and Setra. I honestly hate playing in Bridgeport cause of the routing issues that cause lag. Plus the elevators and apartments are glitchy AF. Now, as for Isla Paradiso, I'm one of the lucky Simmers who doesn't have the lag issues that so many people do. I'm doing a LEpacy and just finished the Island Paradise generation and spent 20 Sim weeks there with little lag. I still got lag, but, just the normal Sims 3 lag. I have more issues in Bridgeport than Isla Paradiso. 💚💚😁
I guess my play style is mostly opposite yours. As a Southerner also, I generally prefer to play in worlds that take me somewhere different than my real backyard. That said, though my Simself may live in Bridgeport now and travel frequently (Australia, Rio, Tokyo, Rin Faida, Sunlit Tides) Riverview is his original hometown, and he ain't above doin' little fishing trips with the posse down home or in his GF's original town Appaloosa, thanks to NRASS Traveler. Gotta keep the country skills up or the boys will heckle!
Hidden Springs is one of my favs! But personally I wish EA made more worlds :p

I have kind of wished in the past that we could have university in our custom worlds, but than I remember how huge some of the university rabbit holes are and think to myself that I have a hard enough time fitting everything else I want to include in my custom worlds. Nectary Hills was basically my attempt at creating a fully functional all in one hood, and I basically ended up having cut back on the number of lots, and that was even without attempting to include all of the campus lots.

I think at one point LGR said he thought of Starlight Shores as a suburb of Bridgeport. I think I have to disagree, because the two worlds have a totally different feel and a radically different climate

I think of Starlight Shores being more like California, while Bridgeport is more like New York.

Island paradise is very laggy, I want to play there but its to laggy.
Yeah Isla Paradiso is very laggy Nraas does help though. Also I've heard some people say removing certain families, and the houseboats helps. Although I've never tested it out. 😎💯
