WHY RIDING IN THE WINTER IS SO HARD?!

- It has been a little while since we have been out on the bikes due to moving house but we decided to head to our local woods to go for a ride. However, we were soon reminded that it is so difficult to ride in the winter. Tom crashed as we were riding into the woods on the road which really put my confidence even lower than it already was. So I spent the session building up slowly and remembering skills and techniques before riding the bigger features.

Tom is totally right, you need to get a bit out of control to learn how to react. If you never push the envelope your progression will suffer. Sometimes you need to huck it.

Nice one Kara. When I ride in the wet and mud, it's best to start slow and just get a feel for the bike but deliberately slide it out so you can feel the skid and how loose the tail end can get. Sometimes you just need a nice muddy slide out crash and giggle to make the rest of the day awesome.
my supervisor at School ruined his christmas and new year after crashed his bike and got closed minor fracture in Patella in his Left knee and got rest for 6wks got plaster on whole leg and on crutches told Tom on instagram about it
You look like us here..looks like fall. we finally got 4 inched of snow and its gone down to -6, great riding in snow and cold. Our winter riding is often -20 and having fun. Do you get snow?
