WET AND MUDDY DOWNHILL RUNS AT THE FOREST OF DEAN!

- I went to the Forest of Dean with Tom Cardy and we ride the downhill tracks at Cannop Cycle Centre however the weather was not on our side. Winter in the UK is unfortunately very wet and muddy but that didn't stop us from riding the downhill tracks which were very slippery! I started off nice and easy with the blue tracks which are Countdown into Launchpad and I really think that in the summer when the trails are nice and dry this cold possibly be the fastest trail in the UK! I then tried out a new trail which is graded red in difficulty called Twisted Sister. I have never seen this one here before but it was super fun and a little bit technical with slippery roots!

I need to get over there again soon....the day trip is doable but I think I might aim for a long w/e next time (just did a day trip to Dirt Farm and that was a long day!)

FOD is my local trail centre. I was there last Saturday and got charged at by a wild boar whilst riding the Verderers trail.
Looking a but wet. I think I will wait until it dries up before I go. Over 3 hours drive back!! I know what that feels like 😂
