My husband, Lawrence, will be 80 years old May 28 and he still works hard around our home. Last summer he put down two rooms of new flooring and this winter he did our kitchen. Now he is at our daughters this month helping renovate her bathroom. I call him the Energizer Bunny. I do believe Doug is one also!!!

For a long time it appeared that no matter how hard a fast you worked, the pile was never going to reduce, then suddenly you were down to the rotten mess at the bottom of the pile. All I can say is that I envy you the energy you can bring to all these tasks to get work done, well done.
I looked it up and Belle was right! It IS an eastern glass lizard! She's like a walking critter encyclopedia! She's so awesome. 🎉
I have been through quite a few power washers, they vary quite a bit by the type you buy. When it comes to electric, I really don't have anything nice to say, they get really hot. I had 2 electric ones they would overheat after about 10 minutes and shut down. Both of those ended up getting cracks where you attach the hose. The one I have now works like a dream, it uses regular gas, and has brass fittings. It is loud, but it is very powerful, and has really good pressure, I think it is a Husky. I sprayed a rug last year, and used the tip with the strongest pressure, it actually cut the rug in half! Anyway I hope that helps. On other topics, Ashley you look really nice with bangs! I love that you have raised your kids as you have, they appreciate things, and they are very respectful. It is a rare thing these days to see kids out looking for bugs, helping their parents. I have been watching for a very long time, and I just wanted to say that I think you and Ashley have a great work ethic, and you are one heck of a builder! I really enjoy watching thanks for all of the great content.

You all had a hard job today!! I did the same thing around my house!! Well I didn’t do it but about. 5 adults 12 kids from my church came this morning and started cutting bushes, trees, weeds, etc. on my property & had it done in no time at all. The boys & girls worked really hard. I was so proud as I knew I couldn’t do it & had no one to do it for me. I will try to keep it up as good as I can, but I am Almost 76 years old. But I’ll try. You all did a good job. And to find a trampoline!! You all have found lots of toys and oh my goodness a legless lizard!! I didn’t know there was such a thing. LOL. Your daughter is VERY intelligent. I just love your videos. They are always so interesting. Doug your back must be killing you from scraping all that stuff off

Found “30 second Outdoor cleaner” worked great on a similar situation. Sprayed surface wet first, then applied, waited 5-10 minutes, had pressure wand on garden hose & most came off, this not instructions on container but friend told me this how he did it. Retreated hard areas. Mind you, mine was vinyl siding which is not recommended to use pressure washer on. Yeah I know a lot do but I have seen the problems that can come from using them.
You have 2 cat visitors now. The way Belle looked at that lizard was of joy and wonder.

Repurpose the trampoline ring, it would make a good base for a patio area. Level it up, the metal would eventually sink into the ground and can be covered with gravel, pavers, etc. Put a few chairs and a fire pit on it. Your renters would have a great designated outside spot.
On the pressure washer. Every diy homeowner should have one. All my tools are battery. Except a high amp recip saw, hammer drill, drill press, compound miter saw, table saw, router, and an angle grinder (I have battery ones as well but when you need the umph). I feel, just my opinion, you need a gas pressure washer. My ony gas tool is a pressure washer (and generator). I haven't found an electric/battery that delivers the psi. It's been a few years since I looked so there may be something out there now. If you don't need the psi you might be OK. But you always need more power.
Ashley, your hair looks great! I have never seen or heard of a legless lizard but Belle sure knew what it was and wanted to take care of it. I wonder why anyone would bury a trampoline like that, hope you can make good use of it. I'm sure you have lots of recommendations for house cleaners and one will be just the right thing for your need. The property is looking better, your efforts are really paying off and that must feel good.

I have the Ryobi 2000psi electric pressure washer and I love it! It’s powerful enough for all diy projects I have taken on. I don’t think you would be disappointed at all! I loved the video as always!

I’m just floored by the way you grabbed that lizard thinking it was a snake! I’m not particularly afraid of snakes myself, but I don’t think I would have the gumption to go after one in my yard like that. Maybe I just don’t know enough about the different species of snakes to chance it.

On the pressure washer, I've rocked a SunJoe for years detailing cars and I've never been let down by it. I'm currently using the SPX-4003, it went on sale for under $100 on Amazon and I got an aftermarket barrel for $10 since the stock one has low pressure and it's amazing. Easy to roll over rocks and rough lawns.

Another great job guys, all the progress looks great! Here’s a crazy idea, it might not be a good idea for a coating for a mobile home? Then again it might be? It’s a DIYfferent idea. I’ve seen people add almost any color you can think of to raptor bed liner spray, and then paint their 4x4 trucks, vans, RVs, and anything else you can think of. Sometimes it’s done just towards the bottom to prevent dings, dents and rusting. It covers all imperfections on surfaces and creates a unique texture and surface, on its own. If you can’t get your siding, perfectly clean, would you consider spraying the home with a raptor bedliner, coating, (or a similar product maybe use a different brand?) in the colors of your choice? It would cover and hide any issues left on the siding before paint, saving time and money on prep. You wouldn’t have to worry about your mobile home’s siding ever rotting or rusting. You can spray it on just like you would paint, even use it with different colors. I’m wondering in the long run if it would save you any money? It might be a great solution if you can’t get your siding perfectly clean? Just a wacky idea I thought I’d throw out there for you guys to ponder. You can even spray the roof with it, because it is waterproof. Mind blown right? Lol.

Belle reminds me of my daughter Alison. She is a very good artist and was always catching lizards, salamanders, snakes and bugs on our ten acres. She got a degree in Zoology and works doing environmental impact studies on wildlife in the desert. Your property is gorgeous and you just keep making it better.
I've been enjoying your videos since you guys moved from Indiana. And now I love watching your videos from my present state. I usually watch you on my big screen TV so I don't comment unless I have my phone or on my computer.
Doug, as far as the mobile home cleaning the outside walls goes, I would suggest spraying the walls with bleach & rinse with water. A lot of those house cleaners work pretty well, but as bad as the algae is on your house, I would use the bleach. Pressure washers work very well also. Even electric Pressure washers would work if you have a power station around since I know you don't have electricity at the mobile home. You've got a beautiful family.
When you were digging out that trampoline I could feel it in my back, but then at 71yo, my days of working as hard as you do are over. Don't work too hard and hurt yourself. I'll be watching!

Some lifestock panels and cut the circle in half and you could make a great trellis Thinking bottle gourds Pumpkins, watermelon- keeping those off the ground helps. I keep thinking there was a grandparent that would buy the grandkids gifts by all the kids toys and stuff found around the yard.

We call legless lizards “slow worms” in the UK, even though they’re not slow and not worms! All those fallen leaves will make awesome compost if you put them in a heap or bin there. You could use some of your scrap wood to make a neat compost area.

That lizard was incredibly cool.
My go to cleaner is baking soda, vinegar and dawn, cuts through anything. Mix it in a bucket with water, dip your scrubbing broom into it, then scrub a dub dub, followed by a good rinse.

If electricity is available, you could look at electric pressure washer instead of battery or maybe look into renting one? It doesn’t matter if you jump around with the projects, they all need to get done and progress is progress 👏👍
