A client interview is not related to the visa interview. It is your company who will decide whether a client interview will be there or not.

1) if you are going together for the interview definitely all the passports you have to give. Both needs approval.
2) we don't have such experience as we had the client letter. Better to ask your company what should be the answer.

Hi Sanjeev, If the consular asks for a client letter then you have to provide and if not then you are good. I will suggest checking with your company immigration team. They will have a better answer for the question.

Hello, If your spouse is working in Government Job then yes you need to get NOC letter. However, you don't need any letters for Private Employee. Just mention that your dependent is not working because H4 can't work in USA.

Hello, my H1B has been approved and I came to my country for visa stamping. I became qualified for the interview waiver but since I would like to apply for my spouse who has never been to the US before, how can I cancel my interview waiver to go with my spouse for the visa interview. Hi Rohit, I could share my personal experience. Recently I also booked Visa slots and I was qualified for dropbox. I didn't get appointments and later I changed dropbox to In Person Interview and got the appointments. I suggest to do the same and see.

You have to give these answers while scheduling the appointments.

2.Was your prior visa annotated “Clearance Received” or “Department Authorization”? NO
3.Was your most recent U.S. visa lost or stolen or cancelled? NO
4.Have you ever been refused a U.S. visa before? NO
5. Was your most recent U.S. visa issued after January 1, 2008? -YES
6.Did your most recent application result in you being issued the visa? YES
7.Then you will get option to select dropbox or in-person Interview

Hi Sajana, My suggestion will be that don't change the company before visa stamping. Your current company might revoke your H1B. If that happens then you will be in big trouble.

Hi Ganesh, you will get lockers there where you can put your things other than docs. They don't allow anything other than files with docs inside the consulate ,so it's better you keep your docs inside a folder or file.
Hi Ganesh, I would suggest you to bring your docs in file only. Don't bring a bag and mobile with you else you have to submit those in the locker and wait in queue.

Hello Tushar. Don't worry about the visa Interview. Just prepare for it. They ask basic questions like where will you live in US, what is your role and responsibilities. Who is the employer and client etc.

This will create an issue for your visa Interview. All information should be matched with your details. There is a way to fix this called e-request.egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do

Hi Nishu. I had also told my date of birth wrong but and then corrected it . It happened due to nervousness but they always match your passport and DS 160 that should match and that only matters. And in the visa centre they will match the birth certificate and passport if needed usually they don't .

This is not mandatory, but you will get priority in the long queue.

Hello Pathik, Congratulation for B1 to H1 Visa. I would suggest go for in person interview even though you are eligible for dropbox. There is couple of reasons,
1. It is difficult to get the dropbox appointments.
2.You will be taking your dependents along with you on interview date. On the day almost all questions will be asked to you not from dependents. But if you book separate appointment for H4 then questions will be asked to them only.
Please fill DS160 forms together.

Hello, I have one additional question.
My wife has a very good professional career here in India. She will visit me in US only during holidays and she will make sure not to work while on US soil. Now what should be her answer to VO if she is asked questions regarding her plans in USA? Should we explain all this in Interview or should we take some other approach? Not sure if this will negatively impacts on H4 approval.

Hi Rajeev, Please don't say anything about your job during interviews. Just say that you will be not working. it's illegal to work in H4 visa in USA. Please avoid that, however it's your decision.

If your h1b petition will not file this year then again you have to go through the lottery process for next year. So it's totally your personal decision.

If you are in product based company then there will be a chance to get fired and this happens all across the world including India. so don't worry.

This is not mandatory but try get the letter from your employer. In my case consular had asked for it.

@@aniqueshah29 Don't be in rush to work in abroad. 1st you complete the Bachelor degree and get a job in IT company and stay there for sometimes and ask them to apply for H1B visa or any other country work visa. There is no shortcuts.

No no. That's not right. You both can come together and it will be easy to get the visa stamping done for you and H4. We did the same.

If your company is big then no but if it is small company then might be. If you don't have the this document with you then don't worry nothing will happen. Because while filing the petition your company provide all the details with USCIS.

Hi Bharati, We had shared our personal experience for the H1B and H4 interview. We haven't said that only mentioned documents are required. You always have to check with your employer Immigration team for the required documents.
Is it mandatory to have the surname to be in sync between marriage certificate and passport of women ?
My marriage certificate has my surname as Tunuguntla while my passport has my surname as Achuta..

In the affidavit you have to mention that both the person are the same. Means your name in marriage certificate and name in passport you need to mention.

1-You have to explain about your experience and mention that company couldn't find the match profile. You have to work closely with Product Owner and he stays in US.
2- I am not sure about that question. Are changing your company.

What if the H4 person (dependent) do not speak English?
That's not a problem. Go ahead. They have translator. If required they will use translator but don't you translate what wife speak.
