Since early June is approaching very quickly it looks like we’re gonna have to attempt to plan this for early to mid September instead. Even though July and August would probably be best for everyone, I am unable to commit to something during those two months due to farming.
Hate that I seem to always be working during these live streams but glad to get a chance to catch up watching this one. Meet up sounds like a fun idea! Moving to September I think was a good call just to give yourself and whomever you plan with some time to figure it all out. I help organize an outdoor festival down here every year so I know it can definitely get to be a lot to organize…then add that to everything else you got going on in life but it’ll be worth it! Looking forward to hearing more about it over the summer! Also looking forward to hearing about some of those smaller thru hikes you mentioned. I’ve got a couple in the works too.

Long time subscriber and viewer, first time commenting. As I watched you live stream yesterday I was wishing the event was going to be later in the year because I am jam packed through August. If you do choose September I will be sure to make it. FYI...I'll be kayaking the big and little Manistee rivers in a couple weeks and have been re-watching your videos in preparation!
Welcome to the comment section! It will most likely be in mid Sept. How much of the Big Manistee are you paddling? Sounds like a blast! I've had trouble finding good info on the upper reaches of the Big Manistee river.

Jason, I'd love to do a meet up and float or hike with some notice. I'm in Western Cincinnati so I'm still in Ohio... How did CZcams not notify me till now (3 days later, GRRR). All I can say is try to keep us up to date. Yes I'm celebrating a birthday in Late may... in my sixties and finally enjoying the last grand child graduating High school (long story). And yes I still work for the City of Cincinnat with 37 years in... hey it's time for a little party. Cheers!
