- Today we take a look at Airbus Defence and Space, Gunnels Wood Rd, Stevenage SG1 2AS.
Security at the front inform us that we cannot record the building but we refer to the sign and he is happier.
We then go round the back and find demolition in progress with the drone.
Alex comes out to see what we are up to and tells us all about what's happening.

Same machine they used to demolish a tower block in Glasgow I lived in. Suited me, it was a dump and they gave me a few grand for moving. 👍

Absolutely excellent. What a breath of fresh air for showing auditors, and the general public for that matter, how to behave in public! But just as importantly, showing people how to get what they want. Just be polite and respectful to EVERYONE and you don't need any fancy qualifications to become a success. Way to go DJ !

Excellent shots of the pincer taking down the lift shaft and demolition of the COB. Good approach with the Airbus employee he was more than happy to give some good info on the place as the drone went over. A good look at something the last time before into history. Great video DJ

I don’t like the “auditors” that are aggressive or confrontational just to get a rise from the people they are filming. Exactly this. Those idiots who go out with the intention of out-Karening security guards for clicks give photographers, filmmakers and drone enthusiasts a bad name, and they really don't give a shit about educating people, photography or filmmaking. Glad to have found one who bucks that trend.

Sometimes I think it would be great if you had your own business because when they say you are not allowed to do something, you could reply that your company has a policy that employees of other companies are not allowed to interfere with your audit. Then ask them why they think their employers policy should override your company's policy, and then end up explaining, that's whey there is a law and the law overrides policy when there is a conflict.
🤣🤣 DJ Audits new policy. You are not allowed to interfere with my Audit! I LOVE that!
Or just tell them, when they start paying your wages, you'll adhere to their policies 😄

Airbus Defense and Space, Stevenage, new offices "Orbit House" opened August 2021. About 500 engineers and experts in their British space division to work at Orbit House with 11268 sqm office and lab space. Project was £35m, architect was RPA Group and contractor Willmott Dixon.

I came across this channel yesterday. Very interesting that such mundane activity attracts such intense interest from 'security'.
I have to say, the pandemic has created a situation in which all sorts of petty officials including police appear to have taken it into their heads they have a right to determine what you are allowed to do as a free citizen in the UK and that you have to have 'permission' to do something.
That is not how the Common Law works. As free citizens we are free to do anything that is not specifically banned by law and petty officials are not the law.
This is probably the most interesting thing that's happened at his security job since he started working there.

Alright DJ....my mate works with Demaster on the HIGH REACH machine.....nerve racking and very skillfull job ....hes at Redcar just now trying to deal with chimney that was meant to fall during recent demolishing of the huge forge there...fekin nightmare he reckons but im sure he will work it out

Restrictions differ for under 250 grams and under than the larger ones where the restrictions refer too
