- Today i went to Roddas Cornish clotted cream in Scorrier, Redruth. Its been in business since 1870 so i thought i would take a look. The first interaction was a good one, he asked me what i was doing etc ( which I would expect ), when i explained my interest he directed me to the older buildings behind which i forgot to record. The second gentleman wasn't quite as nice. He informed me that i was standing on their property. I apologised profusely and retreated back to the public road.
Publicly accessible up the gate. It’s up the business to put signs up stating it wasn’t accessible for the public.
I enjoyed this very good audit, that man showed the company for what it is. First man was really nice
why was it unfair for him to tell you to get off their land?
Maybe unfair was the wrong word to use. I was doing no harm standing on the side of the verge. When I was asked to leave, I went back to the road and was standing on the road as there was no pavement/walkway. This was potentially more dangerous for myself and the drivers etc entering the dairy.
Everyone has the right to film in public, you can film what the eye can see.
Technically I was on their land as its the approach road, but as there was no signage stating NO Admittance/no unauthorised entry it's publicly accessible upto the gates👍
@@CornwallAuditscan you do south crofty?
Maybe, if you asked Roddas before your unannounced visit, they might be more accepting of you. It sounded to me like you were provoking an argument for entertainment reasons instead of promoting an iconic Cornish brand.
Do you work there,is this you talking you can’t film, he was ( you) started to get aggressive not the Auditor. Mmmm
What rubbish, do stopped and ask every body you see while driving if you can operate your dash cam. There is no need to ask permission to do something you are legally allowed to do
