There was a quality control electronic component connection issue in the San Jose manufacturing assembly causing shingle/panel failures in some of the early installations. They may have replaced those since they now have a new machine that solved the problem in making them now.
How many kilowatts was that installation?

Does anyone in Pennsylvania install these? I'm ready to hire someone to do my house. I can't find anyone who installs solar shingles of any brand.
Looks like 22 panels per row, so about 176 panels per slope..that’s 8Kw at 45 watts per panel max.. so two sides would be about 16kw.. I’m am off?

@@Beatz301 According to their website and an interview... about the same as a re-roof PLUS a rack system with the same KW. Average 4 day install.
