I have a holsterd UFC fighter on a two point sling.
One guy who can lift more than 99.9% of the planet, another who could beat 99.9% of the planet in a fight. Really is awesome to see!
Based on just the sheer physical proficiency required for MMA fighting if we look at the total world population including children women and old people, I'm fairly sure dustin is in the strongest .1% of the poplation.
And due to his sheer size and can probably just sit on 99.9% of the population. What's way more awesome is that they can both beat 99% of their competition. Truly the elites of elites. (also Bryan at his prime, could reliably beat 100% of his competition for couple of years.)

I also appreciated Dustin’s tenacity to complete the round even when he clearly lost. Many would have just quit.

Dustin was an absolute monster on the last overhead press challenge. Holy moly he has my appreciation for his size. Athletic human! That was 99 lbs on a 180 lbs dude speed reppin'. (25 lbs + 25 lbs + 45 lbs bar + 4 lbs collars). That's quite difficult!

I read this different from you, I felt Brian was being more respectful with a Handshake due to the willingness to carry on and not quit.
At the end a UFC fighters incredible recovery rate showed. As expected. Puffing like crazy... but he calmed down pretty fast from that however by the time Brian handed the shirt over. Brian was still puffing pretty hard.
Fighting is cardio over strength. Dustin is probably much more conditioned than Shaw.
