The problem is then we used to buy events so we can have the herliom fast than anyone cuz 1 herliom worth 500$ and the event is 160& and it gives you skins with it but now its the double price bc its can be on every legend
They aren't scrapping heirlooms! They're just slowing down the release as they were quickly catching up with character releases. I agree these UH are stupid for the price though.
I think they can make universal heirlooms after they give every legend an heirloom and they should also make it so you can unlock universals by doing difficult challenges
Facts. The heirloom system just kinda sucks sometimes.
I am level 430 or so and have no heirloom whereas my freind is level 240 and has 2 heirlooms.
I just hate having to leave it up to chance or spend money.
@@flairwolf2367 I think it's stupid with the fact that it's 100% luck or Money based. An heirloom imo should be an achievement so there should be an option to unlock it for free or different methods

nonono. the price is what creates the exclusivity. nobody should be buying every single heirloom and if you are, you have bigger issues than respawn.

Man the OG concept for this was so good too, a free heirloom that you could buy optional cosmetic parts for. Now its just like recorders in elementary school, you want a blue tip, well you're gonna have to buy an entire blue recorder. Only instead of $10 its $300.

Hey bobz, the white and purple variant is using the cobalt katar core I think, instead of its own matching core (just me trying to be hopeful that it’s a bit more unique like the 3rd variant)

Hey man, if you want it and you are prepared to spend the money it’s your choice. I spend a lot of money on Apex, more than I’d like to admit, but I got value out of it and enjoyed all of the items I got. If it is gonna make you happy I don’t see it as any different to buying something really if you enjoy it. Hope it’s worth the price!

Heirloom have already been a huge cash grab but this is just terrible. Not even being able to get it for free even if you have heirloom shards is outrageous. And it's just not the same if they put no work in making an heirloom fit a specific legend. No special animations... Nobody needed this, noone wants this and still someone will buy it. Just sad. And all of this happens when the community think the developers would take a step in the right direction with the new season

These events are the worst thing in apex history. You shouldn’t have to gamble for a skin you want. And 300 dollars? Really? For the worst heirloom in the game. Has no animations and no personality
We need to boycott apex event till they get proper anti cheat involved. Can play one match with out aim locker with walls everywhere.
Respawn or Ea are pretty dumb and they totally misunderstood the reason why the FF event was a "Success" which was purely because the Final Fantasy event largely contained and heirloom that was never coming back so the FMO was just stupidly high and caused people to buy the event plus the cosemtics were all just pretty unique and had a lot of time and care into them. Now correct me if im wrong its nice they wanna give people their own universal heirloom but in what world is someone gonna pay way more money for an heirloom that is guarnteed to come back and enter the mythic store for a much lower price that being regular heirloom shards. I mean, the only way the customization options are gonna work is if they bring back the original and even if they don't then one their losing money if the recolors just are gross like these ones and 2 even if the whales do buy the events theyve essentially locked out or pissed off the rest of their entire market from doing so and arent gonna have the success they saw with tha actual unique Final Fantasy event.

Apex is definitely officially dead. Heirlooms, the price of a console is simply an embarrassment.
Be very weary of CZcamsrs that support this type of monetisation. They'll say anything to stay in favour with the publisher, and of course, it's a tax write-off for them.

It is sucha mid melee weapon, it has no style nor substance, the melee animations are lamer than old heirlooms and idk why someone who already has a legend heirloom would swap it for this bootleg of a heirloom
If atleast 50% of the player base boycott and stop playing for a week this issue would be fixed...but nahhh whales. 😂
