I want to thank you BOTH for changing my life. Because of earlier conversations & videos you’ve posted, I found a wonderful hormone doctor and began this fascinating journey. It’s almost 2 years for me and I am in awe of how much my body & mind have changed at the age of 57. It’s a process to find the right combination/levels, but it’s hugely worthwhile.

Thanks Trinny for bringing awareness to women’s health. I’m not near menopause but am suffering from terrible PMS and menstrual issues. It’s a part of women’s health that isn’t discussed, yet spans our whole lifetime. From puberty, to PCOS, to pregnancy, post pregnancy and menopause. I was shocked to also learn the last research done on PMS, which they still don’t know why it occurs in women, was in 1940. Yet 80% of women will experience some sort of menstrual health issue in their lifetime! There truly is an inequality with regards to women’s health (autoimmune diseases through to menstrual issues). A fabulous book to read is unwell women. It’s pretty eye opening!
But thank you for talking about this. As a young woman how is having issues now and looking to heal, it’s also got me thinking about the future of my health and how I can support my body through the many phases, I hope she gets to go through! Keep raising awareness and banging the drum for better women’s health!

@@Claire-qp8ye You can get Testosterone on the NHS - my GP prescribes it. It takes a bit of effort but you have to push. I would go back to your GP and ask for a referral to a Menopause clinic. Do your research beforehand where your nearest NHS Menopause clinic is and go armed with the information. Explain to your GP your symptoms are persisting and you want to be seen by a specialist. It is your right for a referral to be made. If they refuse say you would like to raise it as a concern about your care through their formal complaints procedure (look up your GP’s complaint procedure or ask at reception for this) and NHS England’s Commissioning complaints procedure if necessary (search how do I feedback or make a complaint about an NHS service?). They then have to respond and say how they will act. Most GP’s don’t want a complaint on their record especially when they can avoid this by simply make a referral.

So sad - I actually had to switch off and find Dr Erika content elsewhere, it was quite rude the way Trinny keeps interrupting and talking over her guest and this is such a valuable topic. Sometimes being in the energy of wanting to listen and not always on transmit allows the person with the information to actually get her information out. She doesn’t let her complete a thought flow, was so frustrating.
