    Bless you Trinny for talking about hormones. I’m in the U.S and fighting with my doctor to continue my HRT. I’ve explained to her I just can’t fully function, think, articulate because of brain fog without it. I’m 57 and still working and have a good career. My knees literally stop working at any time without it. I loose energy. I’m searching for a new ob-gyn, that is more progressive about hormone issues. I’m educated about the risks, but it’s About my quality of life. My body, my choice!

    Trinny this was AMAZING! Thank you all so so much. It was so so helpful. I think mine hit as early as 38 having had pcos and severe hormone imbalance from age 21. I’ve struggled with a host of chronic conditions since hitting late 30’s. And retired from work because it just wasn’t manageable. I’m now 47. But the more I read and research, the more I’m convinced that it’s peri menopause. I hope these conversations become common place. Lots of love 😘😘😘

      I would say it's 100% peri menopause. I'm going through it now, get to your GP and try combi patches and go from there.

    We are living longer. Women need specialized hormonal care to stay healthy in their post fertile years. This is bio-science. Thx Trinny and Erica Schwartz for advocating for female health care

    I loved this segment! Very informative! I am 46 and it has been 1 year since I have had my period. Funnily enough, I didn't and still don't get hot flushes, sweating, brain fog, etc. But I am experiencing joint pain.

    Thank you Trinny...love these videos...i've learnt so much...i'm 42 and deffo pre-menopausal, i do struggle with sleep, moods, joints pain, my period has its own life,my skin is at the worst stage ever...but with videos like this one i know it's normal process i know how to deal with it or at least i try to learn😄. So thank you and please more of these🙏👍❤

Thank you so much, Trinny!!!! i`m 49, still have my period but already have many simptoms... and yet, as a person (woman), I feel this as my best time ever! Thank you, thank you, thank you! You´re definatelly an inspiration!

    I was 6 years waiting, with desperate hot flushes. Finally a young GP followed up on contraindications. I’m now on HRT 6 months. I’m a new woman!

    This was such a great talk. I’ve been on bio identical oestrogen and progesterone for 4 years now and it’s been 8 years since my last period. If I ever forget to use the Estrogel for a few days the hot flushes, joint pain and palpitations start again so I would ideally like to never stop taking it x

    Unfortunately at my GP surgery you have to be on your last legs to even get an appointment as they’re still using Covid as an excuse

    my tip is layering bedding,rather than one thick duvet. That way when a hot flush strikes you can flip back a couple of layers,or one layer,or all depending on the flush and room temperature. same with clothes. And I know some women find hot flushes embarassing,but I've never understood why. If I was cold that wouldnt be embarassing,so why should being too hot be? Its part of a natural process,annoying but natural.

    Interesting. I think we should talk about this much sooner and more often to educate women in the 30s and 40s on how to use supplements, HRT, yoga, Tai Chi (etc.) and counseling to help minimize the symptoms.
    I'm in the U.S. and was told because my Mom had breat cancer at 47 I couldn't take HRT. So I've been starving since 48 and I'm 61 now. I've eaten my way from a U.S. size 8 to much larger. I've had hot flashes amd insomnia for 13 years. I'm angry with the industry that I've suffered this much of a health decline as I was not provided ANY advice on how to use alternative methods to stave off hunger, hot flashes, and insomnia. My health has taken a nosedive as there was no help or advice to address these harsh symptoms.

    I have to cut down wine.. only one glass. If get lots of hot flushes.. have cut down the coffee to one a day. Coffee really brings on the hot flushes.. does go in cycles.

    Adding testosterone to my HRT regime has been a total game-changer; it has literally given me my life back! However, I only found out about it because I watched Trinny’s video with Dr Erica Schwartz. There needs to be much more awareness of the importance of testosterone in treating many symptoms of menopause - yet, because it isn’t licensed for menopausal supplementation in the UK, GPs are unlikely to suggest it and are often unable to prescribe it when asked. I had to go to a private Consultant to get an appointment and prescription. I’d urge women to research this and start asking for it. If there is a demand from patients on the ground, perhaps things will change.

      @@niamhbyrne4036 Estradiol (oestrogen) patches. Benefits: more energy, better concentration, less anxiety, increased libido, fewer mood fluctuations.

    Can anyone give me tips on keeping my estrogen patch stuck on for the entire week? I find every time I exercise it unsticks 🙃 before I apply it I exfoliate the area and clean it with rubbing alcohol, let it dry then apply with clean hands. I’ve tried lower back, buttocks and front of thigh. Thigh works best for me where the skin is tight with no folds. Still I end up popping a Band-Aid over it to keep it on. Help! Might ask for cream instead?

    So, basically, if you’ve had an oestrogen dependent breast cancer (as I had 10 years ago) I now have cardiac problems, osteoporosis & Alzheimer’s to look forward to, & there’s nothing I can do about it? Told by gynaecologist todo more weight bearing exercise, to prevent osteoporosis, told by orthopaedic doctor not to do weight bearing exercise, due to the beginnings of osteoarthritis, ask my cardiologist what I exercise I should do about my arrhythmias, he didn’t know. 57 yo medics don’t seem to know what to do in these circumstances. I’m not the only woman who’s had an oestrogen dependent breast cancer. Why still no answers?

      I found The Louise Newson podcast great, She isa GP that couldn't get a job on the NHS for the menopause. Her chats span from low testosterone in women, progesterone, estrogen ect. And what hrt you can take after breast cancer. Please have a look on Spotify!!

    The benefits of HRT vs the downside of it...I do think the bar should be higher when it's not a disease. Menopause is a natural process and the hormones' affect on the body is complex. I find it scary. There is no easy answer and there may never be.
