What is the procedure for removing the charger from the battery? reverse order would be 1) remove plug from wall 2) remove data cable 3) remove charging plug from battery. ... But that seems like a scary way to do it.
About twice what you'd pay USA - I just got my OneWheel here in Oz, and once you factor in being bent over for the exchange rate, shipping costs, import duties on arrival, AND the possible cost of any licencing requirements (I had to apply to RMS for a licence for my 'self-balancing, off-road vehicle')... just assume 'double' and you wont be any more disappointed than you need to be about selling your car to buy this
If the batteries lasted to where you could sustain a rental/tour company, 12k isn't that much, but the batteries would put you out of business if they are expensive as I once heard. Hopefully they have figured out the battery expense issue.
Reducing the battery drain % to 20% and charge % to 90% while adding an extra hour to charge cycle can increase the normal 300 cycles of typical lithium-ion 18650 up to 1000-1500. The discharge cycle is what is probably getting the batteries lifetime here: a cheap 18650 like Samsung 25R (Makita battarias) cannot sustain themselves much but Samsung 35Q would be much better choice as far as I have seen. For a 14S14P battery like this the 'damaging' output per cell (25R) would have to be 10 amp continous, but I don't know wther it outputs 5-7kW con't..
Looks awesome!
Quality looks good!
